Congrats fedup! Hope you have a safe delivery:) I have delivered in Medcare twice so you might find my list of what you need useful: http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=125666 I see below that some posters said pampers for the baby - you don't need any of that as the hospital provides pampers #1 (you pay for it on the final bill obviously, but your insurance may cover it). As for wipes, it is much better to wipe the baby's tush with wet cotton (which they provide also) as wipes can cause a rash. Good luck!

As long as u have enough for the first 2 days ill be fine .. Your dh can bring all the extra stuff, like my dh has always popped out brought more outfits and toys presents lol whilst in hospital. Just remember baby grows layers for your little one as it gets chilly in hospitals, bibs, dummy, blankets, sudro cream, nappies, little hat, scratch mittens...

Don't forget to take baby capsule ! We put ours in the car a few weeks out from D Day because I was so worried we'd forget it. Not sure if you've thought of it, but pack a bag for hubby as well if he will be staying with you at the hospital.

Take as much as you can, as previously said - accidents can happen. Take: bibs, dummys, vest, grows, blankets, scratch mitts, hats, wipes, nappies. Don't forget your camera :) All the best

accidents happen and u don't know how long ull be there so i think around 7 sleeping suits for the little one and 2 or 3 blankets. few bips i would just take a small packet of diapers as u can better have too many than too few, dont forget the wipes ofcourse, a few soothers if u plan on using one any fav music on ur cellphone, i had lullabies on my cell and the little one loved it perfume can always be a good idea or a deo hehehehehe a labello is also handy as many woman get cracked lips right after delivery clothes for u, comfy shoes for u,
