We first used Maclaren Volo during our travel with our then 9 month old boy. Lightweight (4kg), very practical and easy. We then had another boy and switched to Maclaren Twin Triumph (10kg), bought it mainly because we're travelling (and I was pregnant that time too) with our then 3 year old and 1 year old. We initially thought of getting the Techno Twin but found it bulkier and heavier which we didn't see the point as we were thinking of being able to navigate 2 young, very active kids + 3 full luggages and 2 hand carry bags! We've travelled many times with it and are fully satisfied (including US Disneyland, lots of walking, folding, transporting). It has weathered the cold of Scotland, heat of Dubai and Florida, rainy days of New York, and humidity of Asia. We're still using both. Now I just tell the kids to hop in and out of it. My husband is 6'1" tall and never had a problem navigating it. The downside? My boys like to pick on each other while sitting together, but that's another story! ;)

I bought a 2nd hand maclaren triumph which I regret. I know it is a different model to techno but just thought I'd let you know that if you are tall or have a long stride the mclaren s are terrible. I end up kicking the breaks with every step or walking with awkwardly short hobbly steps.. make sure you test anything you buy fully.

I love the BabyZen YOYO :) It is so convenient and light. As I have a small trunk and I travel often it is the perfect stroller. I highly really recommend it.

I have the McLaren! To be honest.......way too expensive! I paid in the US 300 dollars for it. I mean it is ok, but nothing special. Look around, there are many other brands. I would not buy it again. The basket is very tiny at the bottom! Can't even take it for a little shop at spinneys! So annoying!

I have the Silver Cross, and it is not great! Was happy ti was so much cheaper than McLaren and actually I urgently needed a Stroller and McLaren were sold out in Dubai at the time! So had no choice. My Silver cross has quite a bad factory mistake in it which causes the seat to lean to one side! Mothercare could not fix it but when we cleaned it one day we saw the mal function and fixed it ourselves. Their wheels are not great too! They tend to squeak ALOT........We are planning to buy the McLaren this summer.

Thanks! I am looking to get it as a second stroller, but I also want it to be fully reclinable so my little one can sleep. I've seen a lot of Sliver Cross strollers around, but never actually had a look in its functions.

I used to see the Techno all the time at Mothercare Dubai Mall but last time I checked was prob a couple of months ago so I guess it may be out of stock? If you are planning to use it as a second stroller for travel I personally think it's not worth spending the money on McLaren. I have a Quinny Buzz and bought a Silver Cross instead of the McLaren for 40% less and there are also cheaper options, maybe Chicco, Mothercare and other brands. Not familiar with the YoYo so can't comment. I must say though that as DD is growing I am think that in 5-6 months the Quinny may not be a practical option anymore and that later on when kids are 2 or 3 yearls old it is in fact easier using an umbrella stroller as they can sit in it and get out of it themselves etc-just some food for thought:-)

Yes it's expensive and I almost walked past the ladies from 6am babies at an event where they were demonstrating it, but it's made life so easy for me! I don't use it only for travel... use it everyday!! It is my main stroller now! It takes up hardly any room in the boot, its very light and I can easily juggle LO & the stroller even when its folded. The opening/closing took me a bit of time to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, it's amazing! The fabric washes really well as well! I got mine from 6ambabies.com & one for my sister too! Maybe pop them an email & ask for a demo? Tell them Jenny sent you :-)

Yes, would like it! I don't know price of Maclaren Techno as I didn't find it, but yoyo is $$$ for a traveling stroller.

I am looking for a light weight stroller for traveling. We have Bugaboo Cameleon, which is fab, but... Too big as cabin baggage for airplanes, too big for a trunk of most cars in Europe... A friend recommended Maclaren techno which I can't find anywhere in Dubai?! but see it pushed around. While looking for Maclaren, I saw Babyzen Yoyo and kinda liked it. Anyone knows the price of Maclaren Techno? Suggestions please!
