Thanks Girls .. I went to Mothercare today and looked at the Techno XLR and the Silver Cross Pop... you are right they would be great ! The Maclaren Techno XLR is wider and is just perfect ... does anyone out there have a 2nd hand one for sale by any chance? Thanks again :-) edited by InDxb on 20/04/2011

Can second the Maclaren Techno xlr. Reclines completely and easy to fold. Check when Babyshop sales is on :)

I'd like to add that the Silver Cross Pop (I think this is the model) lies almost flat and is very lightweight. We bought it for travelling last year and it's great. We bought it from Mothercare.

Maclaren Techno XT and XLR lie completely flat. They are lightweight and great. Will be buying one soon just waiting for the sale.

Lightweight is the bugaboo bee.Although it does not go TOTALLY flat, it does go almost completely flat. What I love about it is that can also be forward and rear facing. We have taken it onto flights with us and it has done great.

My son is 3 years old, about 13kgs. He is disabled and is more comfortable in a lying position. I'm looking for a stroller that will lie back , is lightweight and easy to handle when we go on a flight. Anyone got good ideas about what brand I should look at ... or a 2nd hand one that will suit us? Thanks a bunch.
