This post could easily be titled I MISS GREEN-ISH, but it sounds like she's doing well in the homeland so I'd bet a return isn't in the cards. In her absence, is anyone doing a nappycino or similar?

DS is 8 months and we are mostly cloth diapering, but I'd love to get together with others who are doing, have done or are looking to do cloth nappies and exchange tips and advice. Is anything like this going on, and, if not, is there any interest?

Note to mods - not coordinating a meet, just gauging interest.

I'll check my email in the morning (11pm and past my bedtime here!) but I thought it might be worth mentioning that the EW mods have been very supportive of Nappycino's in the past. If you're going to take the reins txjuliet, it might be worth emailing the mods just to be sure it's ok to 'advertise' here. No-one else seems to put this info out there for parents, so it would be such a shame to lose the momentum we had going. :)

Green-ish, you have mail! Ladies, I will copy and paste for a mailing list, but feel free to just drop me a quick note in case this gets deleted.

I'm in too. My 18 mo is still in cloth nappies and DD wore them from birth to potty. Like you, SuzieMom, I feel like an alien when I tell people I use cloth nappies but I love them.

Much excitement here in Aus!!! GO GIRLS! I'd be just about the happiest cloth Mumma in town if I knew someone was keeping the cloth nappy flag flying in Dubai! txjuliet, if you do go ahead, please let me know and I'll send an email out to all of my contacts. If you like, I can ask their permission to send all of their contact info on to you??? mirdif dot mum at gmail dot com (I don't think I'll ever be able to part with that email ID ;) )

And four! That's good. GQ - that's a good question. I signed up for www.thenappylady.co.uk and she was very helpful. Otherwise there are some local reps for tiny tots and baby cheeks, there may be others. PCM - doing well. I hear you on illnesses - there were a couple weeks there where I saw the paed more than DH. He denies it. My email is user name at gmaildotcom, perhaps we could all follow up? Great to see the interest!

I would definitely be interested. My DD is only 2.5 months old and I want to switch to cloth but just got so confused with the different types. I felt like the one size options would have been too big on her when she was born and i did not want to splash out on too many different sized ones and I had her in the States in winter so washing every day without any help and no sunlight was not really an attractive option. BUT now that we're back, I'd really like to switch to cloth as my supply of organic, chlorine-free diapers that I brought back from the States is starting to diminish fast :) What brands do you ladies use and are they available here?

I'm interested, my DD is 12 months. Let's do it, I feel like I'm the only cloth mum in the world here in DXB. People look at me like I'm an alien when I tell them it's a washable nappy:) Yeiiiiiii we're three now! Come on ladies!!!! Do I hear mum no.4? :)

DS will be 8 months soon and using cloth nappies as well txjuliet Would be lovely to be able to chat with other ladies using different nappy brands or just think about using them. I think having another Nappycino organized is a great idea. It's due to one of Greenish's Nappycino that I took the cloth nappies path and never looked back. Still love using them after almost 8 months.
