I used to take it at night before going to bed and it helped me sleep and it lasted as i more often then not, woke up feeling ok.
I wouldn't take it in the day if i had to drive such a long distance though, I'd have fallen asleep at the wheel for sure.
Maybe try it on the weekends first?
Definitely try taking it at night - will help with sleep too! Will sort out your MS for the next day. Otherwise, there are alternative medications that may help that are less prone to causing tiredness... but speak with your OB. Metaclopramide worked for me (not as well...) first time round.
The problem is that I have to drive almost 1/2 hour to work, and work full time so that is another reason why I dont like to take it, but I will try it in the evenings better.
Perhaps try taking it alternate days and see if that helps... That worked for me. It made me extremely tired until I was used to it but it worked a treat on my nausea! Wish I'd known about it my first two pregnancies!
I was also on Navidoxine. From memory I had to take it every 8hrs for it to be effective. Maybe thats why its not really working for you, because you are only taking it once the vomit happens?
I understand you don't want to take medications through pregnancy, but this does not harm your baby and if it makes you feel better then its so worth it, right? Maybe just try for a few days to take it regularly (not only just once you vomit) and see if there is an improvement. Good luck! Morning sickness is horrible, hope you feel better soon!
I was prescribed Navidoxine for my nauseas which I am only taking when I get vomit as I dont want to take many medicines ( I am not vomiting as often as before).
My vomit usually comes in the evenings and when I take the tablet the vomit still continues usually the whole evening. The following day I usually feel better (although extremely tired) but I dont know if it is due to the medicine or my body is just getting better. Is Navidoxine supposed to start working right away (because it is not happening to me) or takes a few hours to work?. Thank you.
