Hello
Does anyone know where you can get Newborn Passport Photos done - somewhere perhaps easy to get to or even better in the Marina area? I presume they have to have their eyes open and be looking directly at the camera for the photo? Many thanks :-)

My advice is to take them yourself and then take them to the photo shop to get printed. They are a nightmare! It took me 2 days to get my 3 week old to look forwards, not scream, eyes open etc etc.....I tried after every feed when he was calm and relaxed but it was very hard. I took the photo on a white blanket with a rolled up towel under it to keep his face pointing forward. I can't imagine the stress of trying to do it in a studio. UK doesn't require eyes open but Australia does - not sure on other country requirements.

You will need to check your country's guidance. For the UK, they don't mind if the newborn baby has their eyes closed.

Many thanks :-) You have to lay them on the floor on a white sheet apparently I think most of the Kodak shops etc do this I don't know if there is one at the Marina Mall but I imagine Ibn Battuta will have one
