ok so after so many days we are finally able to narrow down our choices of strollers :). now the other problem is should i buy a car seat(maxi cosi) that is upto 3 years or the one for the newborn. your experiences please. whoever suggested to take a demo from just kidding here was wonderful.the salesperson there is really very helpful. also those of you who have quinny are happy with it? my DH is fixated on bugabo bee but i am not too keen to spend so much on a stroller. (3445 aed) are there any shops in dubai selling bugabo other then just kidding? TIA
I have searched all the threads here so far.

Regarding car seats, the infantt car seats are definitely very convenient to move baby around without waking. And if you've got a car seat base, makes it even easier ! I would say to go for it if you don't mind spending on it. Strollers - I had a Quinny Buzz with my first child, but somehow never warmed up to it completely. Just a bit too bulky, and the hydraulics worked only for a couple of months. I've bought the Bugaboo Bee for my little boy, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. ! It is really easy to maneuver, very light, compact,a dream to fold and unfold, I could go on for a while! I would highly recommend it. Just FYI, I bought mine from a website in Netherlands that offers international shipping (and warranty), and the price including shipping worked out just a tad cheaper than buying it from Just Kidding. Plus they have stock available of mostly all colors/styles, so you can choose what you like rather than buying what may be available at local stores. The website is www.babycare.nl

Agree with having a 1st stage carseat (up to 10months - year - depending on how quickly your baby grows), and for the same reasons, it means you don't have to wake them to transfer them in and out, and sometimes you just want to run in somewhere, and you can just grab them out, and do this, rather than disturbing them, or putting them into a pram. We have a maxicosi, which slots directly onto our bugaboo cameleon, so I could transfer DS between the car and popping him onto the buggy, so I could do some shopping etc. I love our bugaboo, I know they are expensive, but, if you can afford it, I have found the the weight, durability and manoeuvrability to be great, and better than the others I looked at when we made the original purchase. I have used a few other brands when travelling, but I have always preferred the bugaboo - but this could be because this is what I am used to!

I didn't have maxicosi or bugaboo but for me the infant car seat was a very handy thing because I could get the baby in and out of the car without waking him up and just attach the car seat to the stroller. My car seat had a base in the car and I could just click the seat into this base. It's an additional expense because you can only use it for a year but then you can try to sell it or keep it for the next one. by reading your post atleast i have made up my mind that i will be buying newborn car seat only...rather than the one used for 3 years.thanks

Hi, I guess i can only answer one of your questions properly. You can get bugaboo bee at Bumble Bee. If you are looking for bugaboo cameleon you also have the option to buy it from Mothercare. Just kidding is the one that brings in all the Bugaboos to Dubai and the other shops get their stock from them. I am going to get a bugaboo cameleon and a maxi carseat for it from newborn the pebble because the newer version of maxi cosy does not fit easily onto the bugaboo. Good luck. Ive been where you are in the decision making its not easy.. thanks for your feedback. its helpful regarding car seat :)
