A quick question from the mummies out there, what brand of yogurt did you start off with for your weening baby ?
Also, it is about time i introduce fish for my lo and wondering what type of fish is best ? any suggestions please :)

I also started with plain organic Rachel's but DD didn't seem interested. She does love Glenisk, both the plain yogurt with vanilla that is not very sweet and the fromage frais pots with fruit. I also tried Rachel's taste explorers or something (baby yogurt with organic fruit) but I found it to be too watery so now when I give that I add a couple of spoons of rice cereal and she loves it. But as others have said, ideally plain white organic...hopefully we'll get there soon:-)

i started with glenisk and my baby loved it. then after few months (10 month old) i changed it and started giving normal full fat yoghurt with any fresh fruit puree. although he loves plain too. i am giving yoplait at the moment as organic is not available most of the times.

just plain, full fat unsweetened, organic if possible.

I started out with full fat white yoghurt and blended the soft steamed fruits in. Also the Petit Gervais cheeses from Carrefour are nice with some fresh fruit puree. The Rachel brand ones from Spinneys are quite yummy too. I am not one of those mothers who is overly worried about sugar or fat content so maybe they are not the best choice if that is on your mind.

I think the sugar content in petite filous, is a little on the high side. I have found a organic yogurt for babies called Glensik, which seems to have no added sugar (just natural) which my DD loves. I have only managed to find it in the big Spinneys (springs, town centre). But they don't always have it in stock. If you are near a Waitrose, try them as well, for other alternatives.

petite filous is what my DS has, i tried plain yoghurt with fruit but he didnt like it. started with cod as a fish and he also loves salmon.
