I'm starting Baby Splash with my boys and they'll be a week shy of 3 months when the course starts. I'm unsure what is best to have them wear ... Do they need to be in a one piece full suit or are bottoms fine? Sorry if its a really dumb question

I just bought some swimmers at Chicco in Dubai Mall, and at 75% sale price. :) They still had a lot of stuff for boys and girls so maybe you can check there. There sizes are super small so dont get fooled by the age on it, best to try it on. My son didnt fit in any of the age appropriate sizes and I had to buy 4 years old. Also Bumblebee had a selection of swimmers as well as the sun hats. I only went swimming once this summer, last week when the temperature was a bit better in the morning and he only wore those swimming diapers from huggies. The baby pool at Hayya meadows is completely covered up so no need for a complete UV suit. <em>edited by Yasmine on 28/08/2011</em>

So you think they can just wear the swim nappy? I guess if they're not in direct sun they dont need their top half covered.... well, ideally you would have a full UV suit, but if they've only got one for a 1 year old, then it's not much use to you. You could pop him in a light cotton t-shirt if you want.

If you get the Little Swimmers swim nappies, they are really good (and all UK public pools tell mums of small children that they need to wear them under their swimsuit anyway) and come up quite high, are study and grippy! So you think they can just wear the swim nappy? I guess if they're not in direct sun they dont need their top half covered.... Stovetop - Baby Splash is a mummy and baby swimming class for 3 months -23 months and then Toddler Splash 24months - 3/4years. its great and the babies love it, mostly :) I did it with my DD from 5 months old and now she's nearly 3. http://babysplashdubai.com/upload/babysplash/110627/

I'd get them a little uv top to protect them from the sun....if u find any that small let me know as I can't find any little all in ones of uv tops for boy babies :(
