Hi ladies - I am using a Madela Swing and am very happy with it. However, the breastshield (the soft silicone cup that goes on the breast when pumping) is starting to look a little run down and am wondering if I should replace it. Is there any place here that sells Madela accessories separately (DH bought me the pump from the UK)?

Aaah ok - I have been looking for the soft one since that's what the pump came with. The hard one was available at MOE as well - guess I'll give that a go then. Thanks :)

hard one GQ. The pump came with the soft one but they didn't have that. I think the hard one is better as it it's easy to wash (doesn't stain thus lasts longer).

I got mine from Babyshop MCC and the great thing about it was it came in different cup sizes so I was able to get my size. They are on sale too at the moment.

Babyshop in Mirdiff City Centre has much more accessories for Medala than MOE, was in there last week and althouh I didn't look for what you are after I noticed they had lots of spare parts etc

Checked Babyshop MOE today and they did not have the soft funnel. The salesman said I would find them in most pharmacies but checked the closest two and they did not have either. Also, happened to go by Just Kidding and they did not stock them either. So still on the lookout - if anyone spots them locally please let me know :)

Thanks ladies - will check Babyshop today. Lemondrops - thanks - I was going to order them online but thought I'd check first if available locally. Yes I do have the soft shell funnel, although the pump was bought only last summer. I did see online that they are phasing out the soft ones and replacing them with the hard ones for all pumps going forward.

For pumping accessories - the funnels etc. you're best bet would be online. You can try and talk to the local agents for Medela to see if they can provide it for you, but I find they tend to be a tad unreliable. Their info is: Gulf and World Traders +971-4-2821717 Also do note when ordering the funnels, they have two types the regular plastic ones and the soft shell ones. If you've got an old medala, then you've prob got a soft shell funnel.
