I woke at 7am in the morning feeling wet and thot i had peed! :D And i was so embarrassed that i did in bed like i was a little kid! But yea, ended up having DS the next day afternoon at lunch time!

I had just eaten a spicy curry and was just getting into the car and i felt a trickle!! I looked at DH who was oblivious and said 'i think my waters might have broken' to which he replied 'dont be stupid' (this was 17 days before due date). So i got in the car and then there was another gush. I said 'they have definately gone, lets go to the hospital'. He then said 'are you sure?'. I said 'well its either that or i am wetting myself and i have no control over it!!' 10 mins later i was walking into the hospital John Wayne style!! DH left me in hospital whilst he went for my bag and to disinfect the car seat!! Luckily they were leather seats! :-)

Mine broke while laying on the sofa watching tv. I heard a really loud pop and that was it! Thankfully the sofa has recovered and you would never know :-)

mines might be a bit gross.......but mines broke while I was alseep middle of the night! So the whole bed is flooded with water and hubby beside me was still sound asleep :) so I wake him up and said "honey I think I peed in the bed" and he sniffs and sniffs again and says "it doesnt smell like pee" LOL we didnt expect my water had broken because i was only months pregnant.

I was in bed, dreaming the first time (won't say the dream, but I woke up wondering!)... and second time, it was about 2 minutes before I saw my son... second to last push! I was paranoid about breaking in the car and would always be sitting on an incontinence pad, covered by a towel. This was especially interesting when we went to test drive a brand-new car at a garage about a week before my due date!

Just got off the phone with my mum and I asked her this question. She told me that when she was preg. with me, her water broke in the car while my father was driving. She told me he slammed on the brakes and yelled at her to "get out fast before she ruined the upholstery". He then proceeded to LEAVE her on the side of the road to rush home and get his old pickup truck to take her to the hospital in. He couldn't bear the thought of her ruining the front seat of his brand new car!!!!! hahahaha

Nothing funny for me either... I had a tiny hole in the sac so amniotic fluid slowly leaked while laying down for 4 nights before induced and they fully broke waters. I always waited for it to happen in the supermarket but never did. It has to have happened to someone out there!!

Anyone have any funny or embarrassing stories? DS 1 waters broke while i was in the shower at home so not very exciting. DS2 emergency c-section so nothing funny there either.. Fess up, I'm sure some of you must have some interesting tales...... :-) (I'm in need of a good laugh today).
