Kensington Palace has released four official images of Prince Louis’ christening which were taken by photographer Matt Holyoak at Clarence House, the official residence of Prince Charles. The sweet images were captured just after the christening which took place on 9th July at the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace in London, and included the first picture of the Cambridge’s as a family of five.
From an intimate picture of the Duchess of Cambridge cradling her youngest child, to official portraits with the whole family, the photographs beautifully captured the occasion. Prince George and Princess Charlotte were on their best behavior, as Prince Louis’ elder siblings smiled for the camera, with the rest of family looking happy and relaxed.
Prince Louis wore a handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Queen Elizabeth’s dressmaker, Angela Kelly. The lace robe resembles the 1841 gown made for Queen Victoria’s daughter and was previously worn by Prince George and Princess Charlotte at their christenings.
