Born at the Latifa Women and Children Hospital in Dubai on June 7 2018, baby Emarat’s name not only honours the country that he was born in, but it also represents the special bond between Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Emarat’s parents have now lived in Dubai for two years and also have a daughter named Ayesha.

Although it’s very unique, it is believed that Emarat shares his name with a little girl who was born in 2017 to a Kuwaiti couple who also wanted to pay respect to the UAE. As 2018 is the Year of Zayed, the UAE has seen an increase in patriotic names, with Zayed becoming a popular boy’s name –how adorable!
