Here's how to keep yourself and the kids, from babies and toddlers to tweens and teens, entertained, educated, and inspired at the 'greatest show on Earth'.

How much are Expo 2020 ticket prices for families?

Families at Expo 2020 can also opt for the Family Package (valued at AED 1,650, priced at AED 950), which includes season passes for two adults and one nanny, a photography voucher, discounts on food and beverages at the event, 10 Smart Queue Bookings per day, and heaps of other benefits.

Visitors under 18 years old can enter the Expo site free of charge! Children must be accompanied by adults, and tickets for grown-ups are available for AED 95 each.

1. Learn about planets and the universe at a Mars-inspired playarea

At Latifa’s Adventures in Space City, little ones can climb, bounce, crawl, jump, and explore their way through the planet Mars.

Kids will find plenty of play nets, a 'zero-gravity' chamber, trampolines, and swings. Young space-enthusiasts can also hop aboard a replica of the UAE's Hope Probe to Mars!

2. Be superheroes for a day at the Mascot Immersive Show

Located at Al Wasl Dome, children can help Expo 2020's mascots Rashid and Latifa restore the beauty of our planet Earth as they battle the villainous Mr. Scrap and find Salama’s stolen secrets.

3. Play with robot penguins

Stop by the Monaco Pavilion, located in the Opportunity District, to play among some robotic penguins.

Children can study penguins' real behaviours in the wild through a 'jump and run' game, where kids must help guide a baby penguin back to safety and protect it from the deadly dangers of the Arctic.

4. Teach children to care for our environment

It's never too early to implement sustainability in our everyday routines. After all, there's no planet B.

At the Sustainability Pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai, families can embark on a journey for our planet while exploring this futuristic village of a more sustainable, positive future. Kids will learn about the importance of living a more sustainable life, and what our shared future may look like if we continue to be wasteful.

Wander through forest roots, see how Earth's wonders may end up corrupted from our manmade wastes, and dive into ocean depths.

6. Make digital avatars and dance with a virtual 'idol'

Here's another activity that children will love at Expo 2020! Kids can visit interactive booths where they can create their own digital avatars. Everyday at Mister Scrap’s Scrapyard Idol, there will be a dance, music, and story show set to entertain and wow families.

7. Collect stamps on your Expo 2020 passport

Visitors can collect an Expo-themed passport at the site and receive special stamps from each pavilion visited.

It makes for a lovely keepsake, especially for families who have not been able to travel much due to Covid-19 restrictions.
