Encourage fitness and a healthy lifestyle in little ones with the Emirates NBD Unity Run this November!
The Emirates NBD Unity Run is BACK for 2019, and this year little ones can get involved again with the kids fun run or walk. Plus, they can join in the fun at the Unity Village - a festive fayre designed for families and the community.
This year the event is celebrating the UAE's Year of Tolerance and is embracing the theme 'Unity & Tolerance' with a ceremonial tolerance tree planting, schools' exhibitions and entertainment, a ‘hands up’ for tolerance wall, kids’ activities, and arts & crafts market as well as international cultural pavilions showcasing the diversity of cultures here in the UAE.

Alongside families, the event is inviting schools and their students to participate. All schools across Dubai are being invited to participate in a schools’ activation for the UAE Year of Tolerance Celebrations that will take place on the day of the Emirates NBD Unity Run. All activations will embrace and promote unity & tolerance.
The schools’ activation program includes, dance, music, Unity & Tolerance poem, as well as an art & design exhibition and fitness programs. Here's everything you need to know...
Art Activation & Exhibition
All schools are invited to submit art depicting unity & tolerance. The artwork can include paintings, sculpture, human interactive art, street performance, papier-mâché globes of unity & tolerance.
Dance
UDO Academy Dubai, Global Dance Academy which is facilitated at its flagship school and award winning “Best Dance School” Gems Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis, will be teaching a 2 minute collective dance to all chosen participants in schools.
Students will be invited to perform at the Emirates NBD Unity Run 2019 along with UDO Academy Dubai.
Schools will be invited to participate in live “Street Dance” battles on stage. There will be a combined showcase on stage with UDO & centres for students of determination.
Unity & Tolerance Poem
Students are invited to write either singularly or collaboratively a 12-line poem that embraces unity & tolerance. Drawn from their own experiences whilst living in Dubai we are looking to explore their thoughts and experiences.
Important details to remember
- When: Friday 15th November, 2019
- Location: Dubai Silicon Oasis
- Timings: 7am - 3pm
Participants can enter a 3km fun run/walk, or join in the 10km race. People of determination and their companions are encouraged to participate free of charge.
How to register
Registration costs AED 195 for an adult (18+ years old), AED 105 for youths aged 11 to 17 years old, and AED 55 for kids aged 5 to 10 years old.
All tickets for each age group include entry to the Emirates NBD Unity Run, a run t-shirt, wrist band, race pack with giveaways, access to the Unity Village and a finisher certificate.
Companies wishing to join in can also avail corporate entry tickets.
