Lindsay Lohan announces pregnancy with UAE resident husband Bader Shammas

Lindsay Lohan confirms she's a mum-to-be!

The Falling For Christmas star revealed on Tuesday that she's expecting her first baby with husband Bader Shammas, who is a Dubai-based financier.

The actress shared the news on Instagram with a photo of a white baby onesie that reads "coming soon".

"We are blessed and excited!" Lohan wrote in the caption, with Shammas' profile tagged in both the post and story.

Lohan, who has been splitting her time between her home in the UAE and work in the US, tied the knot with Shammas back in summer 2022.

Their engagement was announced in November 2021, with an Instagram post and caption that read: "My love. My life. My family. My future."

The two mostly keep their relationship lowkey from the public.

Well wishes and congratulations have poured in from the couple's family, friends, and fans. The joyous announcement was even celebrated by brands such as Barbie and Disney, influential figures including Donatella Versace and Ayesha Curry and even international organisations.

"I am over the moon filled with so much JOY and happiness," replied her mother Dina Lohan.

Paris Hilton also welcomed her long-time friend into motherhood, saying: "Congratulations love! So happy for you [...] Welcome to the Mommy Club!"

International humanitarian organisation, Save the Children, commented, "Exactly how happy are we for you? THE LIMIT DOES NOT EXIST", with a cheeky nod to Lohan's iconic role in the teenage-drama film, Mean Girls.

Some fans sent playful comments, giving a nod to the Lindsay Lohan movies they grew up watching such as the Parent Trap: "If it's twins please dont separate them and then send them to the same summer camp years later where they finally meet and eat peanut butter and oreos together".

We're excited for her new journey into parenthood!
