Here's all the buzz on Dubai's emerging cafes and restaurants just for kids, perfect for your little one's day out
Keeping up with children often requires a cup of coffee, and there's no one who needs a caffeine-fix more than mums.
But since parents, especially with younger children, don't often fly solo to cafes, we’ve rounded up the kids cafes in Dubai that have menus and facilities catered to their smaller customers.
If you're looking for a place to grab lunch or drink a delicious java, check out these fantastic child-friendly hotspots in the city:
White and the Bear
Located in Jumeirah 3 is the "world's first restaurant for children". White and the Bear's menu was helped created by food expert and nutritionist Annabel Karmel, who added a variety of healthy food choices for kids plated in colourful dishes and visual presentations.
Children are the centre of this cafe, with everything specially designed for kids, from the miniature seating to recreation.
Lime Tree Café
Located in JBR, Lime Tree Cafe offers a great range of tasty and healthy menu items, from salads to sandwiches, gluten-free treats, and other hot meals, as well as quick bites like granola bars.
If you're dining in, kids will love the children's play area that also features toys, books, and a play kitchen for little ones.
Pots, Pans & Boards

Located at The Beach opposite JBR, Pots, Pans & Boards menu covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a gated children's play area, with dining tables inside the play zone so you can eat while your kids play.
Great for mums whose kids can play on their own, but still need to be within their line of sight.
A lovely French bistro with a large indoor play space for kids. Children can pick from Couqley Dubai's special kids' menu, offering plenty of French gourmet options.
It might get quite pricey for dining, as lunch for one can hit an average of AED 50.
Tom & Serg
This cafe in Al Quoz is ideal for the mum and child who wish to dine and play in an industrial-chic, almost Los Angeles-like atmosphere. Tuck into their award-winning breakfasts, grab a cup of gourmet joe, or dine from their lunch and dinner menu.
The kids' cafe is located on the first floor, offering plenty of activities such as colouring, chalkboards, toys, and more. While there's no life for mums with strollers, just ask the staff for assistance.

If you're looking for a child-friendly cafe in Barsha Heights, Bohemian-styled Brambles has you sorted. It's a fabulous, pink-coordinated dining spot in Citadines Metro Central Hotel, and customers get free hotel parking and valet.
Once your child has tucked themselves out playing at their modestly-sized play zone, mums and kids can enjoy their menu which includes allergen-friendly, vegan, and gluten-free dishes, drinks, and deserts.
