When it comes to celebrating your child's birthday in Dubai, families are truly spoilt for choice. Exciting family theme parks, indoor play zones, picturesque gardens, and much more... Dubai is packed with an incredible amount of child-friendly activities and attractions.
But did you know that up and down the Emirate there are plenty of free family-friendly activities to celebrate kids' birthdays of all ages, and they won't cost you a thing.
We've picked out our favourite free birthday celebration ideas in Dubai for children so you can save your dirhams for another day.
1. Legoland Park
Starting off our list of free things to do in Dubai on your child's birthday is Legoland! Located in Dubai Parks & Resorts, this fun and friendly theme park is popular for both children and parents, with heaps of Lego-themed rides and other exciting activities.
With their birthday packages, it makes for a wonderful place to celebrate your child's special day. In each of the packages, the birthday boy or girl gets free entry into the park, as well as food and beverages!

2. Wild Wadi Waterpark
If your child loves adventures, then a birthday spent at the Wild Wadi water theme park in Dubai is perfect. At any day during your kid's birthday month, bring at least three friends or family members and the birthday boy or girl will receive a free entry ticket.
The birthday offer is valid for all ages. Remember to bring your child's original passport or their Emirates ID to prove that it's their birthday month.
3. Visit the Dubai Mall Aquarium
Does your child love animals? The Dubai Mall's Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is another fun and free attraction to visit during your child's birthday. While you'll need to purchase tickets to enter the aquarium, the outside of the aquarium offers a generous vantage point to view some of the amazing aquatic species there - without costing you a single fil!

4. Marvel at a 155 million-year-old dinosaur
While you're still in Dubai Mall, why not head over to the marvelous Dubai Dino? It's the real preserved remains of a 155-million-year-old Diplodocus dinosaur that once roamed our planet during the Jurassic period.
So if your child adores dinosaurs, this free sight to behold would make for an interesting visit.
5. Take a stroll around Riverland Dubai
Travel back in time to a medieval French town, a 19th century piazza, and a 1950s-inspired American boardwalk at Riverland Dubai.
Located in Dubai Parks & Resorts, this free-to-enter history-inspired park has plenty of retail, dining, and entertainment on offer. From here, you can also access other popular themed parks, including Motiongate and Bollywood Parks (entry tickets are priced).
6. Learn about the UAE's coin history
For something more educational and fun, visit the Coin Museum located in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. The Coin Museum houses over 470 pieces of rare UAE coins that date back to various historical periods in the country.
You'll find them all displayed in special cabinets that will allow you to see all sides of the coins, including information on the era its from.
7. Visit the pink flamingos at the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary
The Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a free opportunity for visitors of all ages to go bird-watching. On top of fabulous pink flamingos, this wetland and mangroves reserve in Dubai is home to over 20,000 birds from 67 species.

8. Spend a day out at Aquaventure
Here's another free way to celebrate your child's birthday in Dubai: get them a free one-day access to the waterpark, and friends or loved ones can get their passes at a 20% discount on the same day! How cool is that?
Parents will need to book the trip to Aquaventure in advance by registering through the park's birthday website. The waterpark is closed on Tuesdays.
