How awful. This being EW someone is bound to come along and flame you for your motives so before that happens I wanted to say - get in touch with the wonderful peeps at DARC - http://www.darcuae.com/. Giant hugs. She hasn't stated her motives so how can they be flamed? LOL Almost identical situation a couple of years ago. Believe me I was FLAMED. It was so painful as we were heartbroken already. Not LOL. It was a K9 dog too clelland. We were eventually helped by Bark and Purr in Sharjah. Maybe try them. Homely Petz are great too as are Woof dog groomers in Al Qouz. Both have a good network to put the word out for you.

Since it was a K9 dog, have you contacted them to see if they can help with re-homing? Also put an ad on dubizzle, and post the pictures here as well...

Hi, another hijack! (sorry) If anyone is still looking for a dog/puppy once clelland's dog is re-homed, please consider contacting Posh Paws- They currently have 15 dogs small, medium and large breeds as well as 7 puppies ready to go to new homes soon who are labrador x saluki who are absolutely adorable http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150148227776410&set=a.10150132484936410.322997.581201409&theater As well as another 12 puppies looking for homes in about 8 weeks also labrador crosses. They only ask for a voluntary donation when adopting a pet from them which goes towards the care of the dogs/cats as well as all the other animals that have been rescued including Monkeys, Baboons, Ant Eaters, Donkeys, turtles, tortoises, parrots and all sorts! Also these two dogs were rescued from the DM where they were dumped by owners who decided they don't want them anymore I guess- There's a German Shepherd female and a White Shepherd cross who need homes.... http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150152197961410&set=a.10150132484936410.322997.581201409&theater http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150152844881410&set=a.10150132484936410.322997.581201409&theater for the dogs above please email me at loradxb1 at hotmail dot com - also please only email me once clelland has found a home for her dog

sorry to hi jack thread....we urgently need a fosterer for our foster pup for this weekend only if any of the lovely ladies thinking of re homing clellands dog would like a trial weekend with our wee one? Really sorry to hi jack but very stuck. If the dog is small, I could do that happily. But I read you said special needsy...have been working late hours/weekends so dog will be cared for by maid (no not one of those EW one's from ****!) and kids for part of the day. so it depends how complicated special needs are... email summerdream76 at gma i l dot com sorry, just saw this...you are lovely, thank you. I've manage to sort something out for her. I say special needsy because she was a born in a wild litter and is a very hi spirited wee animal. She is learning though. Thanks sooo much for the offer.

We had a Golden Retriever for 9 months & had to give him away to the do trainer as he bit almost everyone in our family. My kids have been heart broken sine then. I would love to take your dog and give him abeautiful home. We stay on the Palm in a villa on the beach. Pls call me on 04 3166249. Wow. I think we posted our add to re-home our dog, in the wrong place!! If OP's dog finds a home with either of you guys it will be a very lucky doggy! And then if any of you are still looking to re-home a medium sized pet then send me an email michelle hamer at hotmail dot com. Please only mail me if the OP's doggy has found a home as I know how difficult it can be to rehome a loving pet.

we'd love to take in ur dog... but can't do so till then end of april... in between shifting homes at the moment... pop me a line on [email protected] if he's still looking to be homed in april... all the best![/quot It is heart-warming to see that there are people out there willing to give a dog a great home. We were in the same situation a few weeks back with our dog. Traumatic decision but it had to be made. We thought we had found a fab home for her but unfortunately the family had to change their mind. We are now looking to send her back to the UK to family or friends. Can't really afford it but we just want what is best for her. Fingers crossed that my constant begging to my parents works!!! Good luck with the re-homing.

Don't mean to traumatise the dog, but if this is a desperate situation and if the dog is small, I am more than happy to keep it till end of April.

I'm sorry I can't take your dog, but just wanted to send you a virtual hug as it must be sad to part with him.
