Hiya.
Please can I ask if anyone pays 25dhs per hour for their agency maid on Arabian Ranches?
If so, do you need a minimum no. of hours and are they any good?

Please share ,)

Standard rate for a maids help is 25aed per hour so if you can get agency for that then brilliant! I used an agency maid and it was 30aed per hour minimum 4 hours work.

ok, understood but one question, I saw many threads asking for a babysiter , so can I ask her to do only the babysiting? People do it but still not aloud, like said if something happens to your child or something gte stolen; you don't have any rigts

According to someone I know, the Philippino Embassy is saying that the rules have changed and now sponsors can sponsor part-time maids, who have set duties/hours with their sponsor and are allowed to work for other people part-time if their sponsor knows about it and agrees to it.

Why? I mean I know her sponsor and she doesn't work full time with us. Just les than 10h/week. Do we have to "declare" her to the "employment department"? It's just a temporary work...need to understand more... if you could give me some explanation. Maids are only aloud to work for the person that sponsors them, if you get caught employing her part time, you could get a fine of 50 000 Dhs. If she steals from you; you can't report it as you would get a fine for employing her in the first place.

Hi, We have one living next door and she comes to help us cleaning, ironing & babysiting untill our live-in maid come. We pay her 25dhs/h. Maybe you can ask all the maids close to yr house and see if one of them would like to do some extra time. Thanks Paris but heard a few horror stories about people being caught and fined recently so want to do it through an agency - but can't really afford it!!!
