i do not think they would let her buy a ticket out of visa validity date. but why do not you arrange her a longer visa?
I just book tickets for the dates I want and then do visa runs.....never been questioned....even with a one way ticket they asked my daughter (who lives in Australia) why she was on a one way ticket if she didn't have residency and she said she was coming here to study and was applying for her study visa.....
ok, great. i remember they made me buy a return ticket when i came, but that was many years ago, things are constantly changing.
It obviously makes a difference what passport you are traveling on.....but if you/she is from a country that is granted an automatic entry I don't think a late return date should be a problem.
Just remember to extend the visa because we forgot to do that and had to pay extra money at immigration when she was leaving and that amounts seems to vary depending on the mood and temperement to the immigration officer at the time!

Yes you can. My mother last April booked a flight for 6 weeks to come to Dubai and was only given a 30day visa and then got her visa extended at immigration cause bless her I thought she was a bit too old to do the visa run with all the pit stops that she has to make.

If you have a definite return date I would book that. As they normally charge you to change a ticket. Also, assuming your mum is from one of the country's which has visa on arrival, the easiest thing to do a few days before your mum's visa is up is to go to DNATA travel shop on SZR they have an immigration section there and they will extend the visa for another 30 days but the price is 750AED. The cheapest option obviously is to do the visa run but with a new born you might not really fancy doing that.
Hi ladies,
I am due with my first baby in April and my Mum is planning to come and stay with me for about 2 months, however the visa is only for 30 days. We can easily sort that by getting an extension or doing a visa run, but my question is, what is the best way to book the ticket? Do we book a return flight for 30 days and then change it after she's arrived?
TIA!
