please can anyone tell me what the name is of the little green pea like ingredient in thai green curry as well as the small aubergine things that are quartered and where i can buy them , thank you.

The supermarket next to Baitong stock all Thai ingredients... their fresh produce... tiny green eggplants, baby egg plants, lemon grass, kaffir lime leaves, chili's, galangal, Thai basil, Thai parsley (the one needed for pad Thai) etc etc etc.... all come from Thailand and the delivery day last time I checked was Wednesday. S if you want it really really fresh, go on a Wednesday morning. Hth's :) (craving a green curry now!!)

Also there a Thai restaurant in Karama called Baitong that sells Thai ingredients. I believe its very good.

I believe that the first one is a "pea eggplant" and the second is a "thai eggplant." Am watching this thread to find out where to buy them :).
