Seriously some posters need to chill out on ew and stop making presumptions and crying wolf. Had the thread mentioned that the item in question had been handed in to the security office it would have changed the whole thread and responses.

You should have handed the *lost* item into security at IBM or the police. I was thinking that too. If I lose something in a mall the first place I go is to security to see if it was found and handed in. Wouldn't think to look on EW for my missing items. Yes there is a world outside EW and it's 5 users. LOL There is currently approx 220 EW's logged in, not including the browser who aren't logged on, so it does cover quite a large audience, plus the rightful owner will be extremely upset at her loss and whilst she may not check EW one of her family or friends might edited by lal1 on 29/03/2011 OK i've just logged out 20 users does that help? If I lose something in a mall the first place I go is to security to see if it was found and handed in. Wouldn't think to look on EW for my missing items. I have found something that the rightful owner will be relieved to get back and just exploring all avenues possible to reunite owner and belongings.
