hi there - dish are more you're "do everything" company - they do hiring/ staff/ food/ cocktails - and the chef comes to your house to finish the canapes. the quality is fab but the price reflects it. though it is wonderful to have someone do it all - including the clean up. lime tree is great too - but means you need to do a little more, or have your maid help if you have one. they do offer staff from their cafes as well who are always friendly. i know there are lots of other caterers mentioned on EW but i think dish are the only company that does it all.

there is no better than dish !!! have been to two events with them - one was infact a 50 TH. their food is really amazing - nothign stodgy - all different flavours - I have no idea how they compare in price with lime tree but I think they are much much better. staff good - yummy waiters last I remember.

I'm using Lime Tree on Friday for canapes for 40+ people, on the recommendation of EW'ers. I'll let you know how it goes after that. ;) BTW they just deliver everything in boxes with instructions for re-heating etc; I have hired staff/glasses/etc from another events company. :)

Has anyone used Dish recently? If so how wasit for quality and price? Or does anyone have any other catering favourites? It's a birthday party for 50 and I would like really full on canapes and good staff.
