Hi ladies

I am looking to spend one night at a hotel somewhere in Fujeriah/RAK/Al Ain with my partner for one night on a weekend. Looking for somewhere relaxed, with a nice pool area and drinks.. Any recommendations? Budget upto AED 600

Have found a few decent prices so far in Al Ain – the Hilton Al Ain and Al Ain Rotana. Anyone been to either of these hotels before? x

There's also a lovely hotel in Fujairah which hubby and I went to last year, Japanese-owned hotel I think. Sorry the name's at the tip of my tongue. Will try to remember it. The JAL! It's on the outskirts of Dibba.

I second Hilton RAK Resort & Spa. If the Bed+Breakfast deal is still on, then you get an additional 25% off per person at the dinner buffet at Maarid Restaurant. The breakfast and dinner buffet were both lovely. The beach chalets looked nice and are closer to the beach than the separate beach area for the other hotel rooms. They have a quite a few number of pools as well. Overall it's a nice hotel. Sorry, not too sure if it's near RAK bus station. Don't remember passing one on the way. The Cove Rotana is a bit before the Hilton RAK Resort & Spa, that's all I know for sure. There's also a lovely hotel in Fujairah which hubby and I went to last year, Japanese-owned hotel I think. Sorry the name's at the tip of my tongue. Will try to remember it.

I have done quite a few hotels around the UAE and the Hilton beach and spa in RAK is the best so far...

I was sticking with Al Ain for the main reason that the hotel is close to al ain bus station. We are planning to get the inter emirates bus from Dubai – al ain. Anyone know if the RAK Hilton/cove rotana are close to RAK bus station? Xx thanks ladies

Made a hotel tour of Fujeirah just yesterday - the Miramar at Al Aqqa gets my vote with flying colors!

Think the RAK Hilton Resort and Spa have also got a special on at the mo. 33% off so you may get something really nice within your budget. Give them a call. Enjoy!

Hi Presam, In Al Ain I would go with the Rotana - much newer, with a lovely pool area and at least two good restaurants (Trader Vic's - good for cocktails) and Zest. And you can walk to the Al Ain Fort (and Sheihk Zayed's former palace depending on the weather) from the hotel. Enjoy, wherever you go!
