My due date was 11-11 and the past 2 days I've been feeling sharp, shooting pain in my vagina. Today I woke up and could hardly get myself up and I can hardly walk without this thing poking me. I don't see my doc until Wednesday. This is my third and have never experienced this.

Thank you. The sharp shooting pain is gone but I'm feeling the contractions are getting stronger. I think this could be it. The contractions are 2 minutes apart for the past 2 hours but not extremely painful. Going to the hospital now. Good luck! And tons of positive vibes. I hope you have the birth you want!

It could be that baby is pressing on a nerve. There's a lot of weight down there now and your baby is likely to have 'dropped'. If you're worried called your doc but I'd say that it's a sign that your baby is coming soon. Good luck with your birth.
