With DD my feet went up a size and then slowly went back to normal, now with this bub (am 4 months) am starting to notice the foot stretching again. Oh well back to the birkenstocks for a few months then.
Hmm well mine didn't go back after ds 1 I think I managed to get into some of my size 8.5 shoes but they were snug, now I can't even out my feet in them! Wondering if I sell / give away the 8s or just get a box and put them in it for a while getting them out next year after next one born. I'm sadly looking at some of my fav shoes :( how I miss the.
My feet went back to normal size about 3 months after both deliveries. I finally got back to my pre-preg pants size 3 1/2 yrs later, but I'm loving the larger bosom (have always been flat-chested)...
Glad to be of help KWS!! And I never did the exercise and diet thing either. I just try to eat fairly healthily - but no special or strict diets and I've never been to the gym for years....I'm just not an exercise sort of person. Alternative therapy worked for me, and the cause of the weight gain for me appeared to be hyptheroidism - even though clinically I wasn't classified as having an underactive thyroid - just at lower end of the acceptable range.
Who knows, we are all made so differently though...

Sugarbeach you have given me hope!!!
In anser to the OP, my feet seem to have stayed half a size bigger although not sure if its just the heat here.
my @ss, yes that one remains in pregnancy mode :(, 15 months after the fact.
Interesting question, and my personal experience was very bizarre. 3 years after the birth of DD (only), I resigned myself to being a UK size 12 forever instead of my pre-baby size 10, that I would keep the 10kg weight gain forever.....even went and got myself a whole new wardrobe based on my larger size....At the time, due to various health issues, I was doing some alternative therapy, and decided to focus on getting my thyroid back to balance (hypotherodism) with kinesiology/acupressure (NAET).....within 4 weeks I dropped 10 kg back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and stayed like that ever since.

Hi all,
Did many of you change/ go up a size in shoes after your 1st pregnacy? I've gone up 1 but am wondering if this pregnancy will mean another change? Also did anyone's ever go back to their usual size?
Tia.
