Hi there,
Im 5 months pregnant with my 3rd baby and struggling to cope with the growing weight. Its getting really tough now as my belly is getting bigger and im starting to have bad back and hip pains. Doesnt help that my 2nd one wants to be carried most of the time. Do any of you lovely ladies know where i can find pregnancy belly belts here in Dubai? They are meant to provide additional support and lessen back aches. I tried marks and spensers but they dont have them :( Thanking any responds/advice in advance. Have a lovely day! :)

Hi Manubhadauria, Sorry for the late reply. Im not a regular on EW. Hubby bought me the Soft Form Maternity Band. He cant remember exactly how much it was as he picked up a few other things but it was less than aed200. Its tan in color and is very discreet so you can wear it under your regular clothes. According to hubby there were two types available at the pharmacy and the Soft Form had better back support. He got it at the LIFE pharmacy at Sheikh Zayed Rd near DIFC. If you're driving along the main road you cant miss it. Im wearing it all day now and its been really helpful especially when you're running after two little ones all day :) Hope this helps. Good luck!

Hi manubhadauria, Thanks for the sweet offer but my hubby picked up one for me the next day on his way home. I guess he got tired of me complaining lol Perhaps other ladies who are in the same boat as me could take you up on your kind offer? I've been using the belt since and i must say that its a great relief. It takes away a lot of the strain and im walking with ease now and less discomfort. My little one says it looks funny though :)

i was also prescribed one right from 3 month of pregnancy. but i found it uncomfortable and go the old way of tying a cloth around my abdomen. havn't found one up to my liking so far. if you need one , mine is used 3-4 times and still in its packing.its medium size and for 3 month onwards.

I was recommended by my doc to get one from Health Mart to support and lift the bump, it's on Sheikh Zayed Rd and they have a few different styles/brands. www.healthmartuae.com

well that is what it effectively does. Lifts your bump and supports that. Its because that is weighing you down you get the back ache !

Hiya, I used a Pregnancy support belt too for backache. (my 3rd baby also!) Anyway Im done with it now, and if you would like it, you are more than welcome to have it. It is supportive to bump and eases the back pain. (well it did for me) Leave me an email and we can arrange for you to pick it up. shazia dot 31 at hotmail dot co dot uk
