Anyone know a great eyebrow threader? I used to have an amazing woman that would come over and do my eyebrows and waxing and the works, but then she got a day job and stopped doing home beauty visits. I tried a beauty salon in a mall but it just wasn't the same. The beauticians in there were Filipina and only really did a tidy up as opposed to creating a nice shape to my brows. I have to say the Indian ladies reeeeally know their beauty and can create amazingly shaped eyebrows even from my hairy slugs! Can anyone recommend an Indian beautician? Thank you :)

I'm sure you are able to. Most salons that I've been to always prefer threading so it only makes sense that you should be able to buy the thread here as well.
So just to clarify - did you buy the thread? You'd previously asked for places from where the THREAD could be bought.

All those beauty salons in Karama do great jobs in eyebrow threading. They shape and clean up your eyebrow which is great. Also in Oud Metha are plenty salons that are great at threading. I agree those Indian ladies are magnificent with eyebrows!

Happy to report that I went to Jumeirah Town Centre today. Shraddha at Nail Station (1st floor) did my threading and did a fabulous job - much better than the last lady I saw at Juan Salon in Jumeira Lakes Towers who left a lot of little fair hairs behind. I look like I've had an eye lift! Ph for Nail Station is 349 0123

Hi Amel, I have been using Mona at Naill Station in Town centre for both threading and waxing she is from India and does a fantastic job, she is great at threading lovely shape and tints them also. I have been going to her for years with no complaints, will post their phone number later...can highly recommend her :) Sophie which Town Centre is that? Jumeirah? I'm also in the market for a decent threader, but don't want to have to go trapsing through Satwa or Meena Bazaar for a 10 min job.

I've gone to Rekha at Pretty Lady in Satwa. She is Nepalese, but raised in India. Satwa isn't too far from Business Bay area ;)

amel123 I know what you mean. I like the gals at Beyond Beauty in JBR (Sadaf Plaza Level). I think my brow tech is named....Raji? Something like that? I went to an Indian/Korean place back home and I agree with your choice--seems to be their art. My Puerto Rican instructor at beauty school introduced me to it. Nearly cried the first time lol Thanks I'll check out Beyond Beauty :)

Hi amel - where are you located? Are Lamcy Plaza/Meena Bazaar options for you? If so, I know of a couple salons. They aren't fancy (!) but they do a good job. I'm in Business Bay/Downton area - not sure where Lamcy Plaza or Meena Bazaar is, but could you let me know the names of the salons? They might be closer than I realise. Thanks :)

The russian girls at Manuella salon in City Centre mall in Deira and Festival City do a great job. I also used to prefer the Indian ladies as they are very good but found that the Russian ladies are even better! :)
