Hey ladies,
I am looking for a good nursing pillow.
I have looked at the ones in babyshop and they look quite flimsy.
I liked the one in Mothercare but was hoping they would have colors. It just comes in white and I fear the cover would need washing way too often.
Any recommendations?

I loved the dream geni. Slept with it before birth and then used for nursing after, now it protects bubs from falling backwards on her head when sitting. Multipurpose!

I am a strong advocate for the boppy! You can find it at destination maternity in MCC but if you can amazon it, it'll be much cheaper. I also have the breast friend pillow but its not as sturdy as the boppy and I used it between my knees during pregnancy and for back support after/while nursing in bed. I also use the boppy as a short term support after feeding to keep the baby elevated a bit when I don't have the car seat around.

I got a Boppy dupe from Babyshop (its of their own Juniors brand) and its been fantastic and much cheaper at 70dhs. I used it in my pregancy to put between my knees when I slept, I used it for breastfeeding and now when I bottle feed as well so DD is comfortable, and DD has reflux so at 4months old now she lies down on it too and is elevated - after all this, it's still in good shape!

Boppy from Pottery Barn all the way. I tried a couple of pillows and this is the only one I really liked. I recommend getting a spare cover (also available from Pottery Barn) as your LO will occasionally spit up or dribble on it.

The most recommended ones are Boppy (sold at Pottery Barn and you can buy the cover separately - comes in several colors) and BrestFriend (sold at Destination Maternity and Organic Foods). I have the latter. You can search them on Amazon and read other people's reviews.

def recommend "my brest friend" available at dubai mall organic cafe. brilliant, supportive, comfortable and with a washable cover. i have a mint green color but there are others available. i'm now using it with baby number 2 and have lent to a friend in between. great value. http://www.mybrestfriend.com/

I've got the Mothercare one which has been good. I wouldn't worry about it being white, if anything gets spilt on it it needs washed no matter what the colour!
