I created an account just to reply, that's how disappointed I was in Mia Branch. I was very excited to meet her after reading reviews but at the appointment she didn't even introduce herself or ask my name she just ask rudely "so why are you here." After telling her I was pregnant I asked how she felt about natural birth (as some dr.s are cesarean happy and push for it) and she replied rudely "Utopia" implying it doesn't exsist? I told her having a natural birth was really important to me, she ROLLED HER EYES and sarcastically said "Goodluck!" Not at all what I was expecting from a female dr. Woman to woman we should be empowering eachother and a dr should be supportive. She took the wind right out of my sails. " I would never go thru such a phenomenal life changing experience with someone like her. We found Femiclinic with Dr Ekatrina. A compassionate, caring Dr. I felt like she was a long lost aunt. I can't wait to deliver with her in January.

Dr Branch is my obgyn - I'm due in a couple of weeks - and I think she's great. Not overly chatty, in fact she was pretty terse in early appointments, but I prefer the no nonsense, straight talking, lack of flannel approach. She answers my questions clearly and honestly (this is my second time so I am aware of what I want/need) and she has been nothing but great in my opinion. :)

She wasnt my obgyn but as my dr went on holiday the day after my csection, dr mia looked after me in the days after delivery. I loved her. She was very straight talking, took her time talking to me answering any questions and giving advice and just sitting down to have a chat. Based on my experience, i would choose her for baby number two if my doctor wasnt available. You are in good hands.

She was my ob/gyn throughout my entire pregnancy and delivered my son last January. He is my first child and I'd never seen a gyn before I got pregnant so I can't really compare, but I was very happy with her overall. She's not the chatty type and check-ups were pretty quick and to the point ("any questions? no? ok, see you next month") but I did have a super easy straightforward pregnancy so there wasn't much to discuss. Delivery was great, I didn't want pain meds and wasn't pushed to take any, didn't want my water broken manually either and that was fine too, etc. I got to the hospital at 5AM and Mia came in about an hour later to check on me (she came in saying "it's so quiet! I can't believe there's a woman in labour in here!") and then popped in once or twice more until I got to the pushing stage. When it was clear my son's heartbeat was erratic and he needed to come out fast, she was extremely efficient and no-nonsense, pulled out the vacuum pump and delivered my son (who had the cord wrapped around him like a mummy) within 20 minutes. I still did most of the work, of course ;), but she was great. Not the doctor for women who want someone who ooh's and aah's over them or has lengthy discussions, but if you like a down to earth mentality and no frills, I highly recommend her.

Hi, I've searched this forum but there seems to be little on her really apart from she seems to let you just get on with it which I like the sound of. Has anybody given birth with her as the OBGYN? Stories please, TIA x
