This is a question that's been weighing on my mind for many months, we have two small boys who we love dearly, they bring so much joy. I always thought I'd have a 3rd child but the more I think about it now, the more I wonder am I selfish to just want to stick with our two children and have a slightly 'easier' life if there is such a thing with two boys! I nearly feel guilt, like I'm taking an easy way out.
We are relocating back to the UK very soon so if we do have a third delivery would be there (I'd much prefer my private hospital stay here!), also we wouldn't have home help like we do here. Don't get me wrong, I'm a hard worker and would just take it on board myself but it means alot more stress and less time for myself (and my husband). Easier do holidays, day to day things and of course it's better financially.
My husband is keen to just stay as we are, count our blessings that we have two happy healthy lovely boys and I completely agree. My heart strings tug a bit though at another little baby.....I think it's hard work in the early years but I'd be thinking more down the line when they are older, it would be lovely to have a busy family house........although 3 teenagers are nothing easy I'm sure!
Has anyone had any regrets at not going for another one or just happy as they are? Finding it very hard to make the decision and need to do soon as age is not on my side. Just curious on opinions....

We always agreed that if we were going to have children at all then we would have two. We had our first little girl then I had a miscarriage. We kept trying but nothing happened, then our little one got to 5 years old and we decided to stop trying. We talked about the pros and cons and decided that whilst our daughter would grow up without a sibling which made me kind of sad, there were more points in the pros column. I'm glad we just had the one now, Our little triangle is perfect... But really, whilst everyone can give you their personal views, only you and your husband can make the decision that's right for you... Good luck with your choice, neither is wrong!

I always wanted to have at least 3 children but never conceived (naturally) after the first one and at 40 feel a bit old for it. You are right it can be hard work initially but one can have more to look forward to in old age in a bigger family setup, and the siblings will have each other. I would go for another if I were you, if you physically feel up to it.
