I tried Lipton but found the taste bitter for me. Any recommendations for a good tasting green tea? TIA

Try Teavana at Festival City Mall, they have a huge selection of teas and the best green tea I have had in ages. I get Jasmine dragon Pear Green Tea and it comes in little tiny balls.

you should get the "small balls" in every bigger supermarket. Twinings gun powder for example. I know that the carrefour in our building has it...

if you ever go to Dragon Mart - the restaurant just a short way from main entrance sells very good jasmine green tea in red metal tea caddies. It is the sort that is rolled up in small balls when dry and they "unwind" in the hot water. Quite expensive though, if I remember correctly.

On reading about tea i just find out most tea brands has pesticides content in them. I heard that there are allowable amount and most of them passed that level. However i wanted to drink pure tea brand n red rose tea become one. So dear expats have you use this and where can i find this product in Dubai? Thank you in Advance! Japy

Thank you. Will go ahead and try Twinnings Jasmine green tea and see if I like it. I'm assuming loose green tea has more health benefits than in a tea bag. Sorry I'm new to green tea and only hear good things about it, so would like to add this to my diet.

Twinings jasmine green tea. Second that for "supermarket" tea. However the teashop in Dubai Mall (underneath the waterfall) does have real tealeaves and their Green Jasmine Queen tea is the best!

I never used to like green tea until I had it a few times at Ying Yang massage place at Beach Centre, Jumeira Beach Rd and asked them why it was different. Apparently, you should brew it for no longer than 30 - 45 seconds or it turns bitter. Well, I bought some from their shop downstairs (loose leaves) and brew as instructed and it's very nice. I also have some from the Organic shop in Dubai Mall that is good. I think it's a bit of, you get what you pay for tho.
