Hi Ladies,
Can anyone recommend a superb Indian restaurant in town? It doesn't have to be flash and fancy, it just has to be gooooooood!!!!!
TIA:)

we LOVE Gazebo, dine in is wonderful! if wanted the take away they will deliver it in clay pots covered with layer of bread :) sad those clay pots you can't cook in it, but I use it for decorations in my balcony ;)

Kebab Korner - yes, dreadful name but authentic Indian food at its best. None of that anglicised Indian food. Proper, hot stuff and full of Indians eating in there. I took my husband there - he's always moaning about not being able to have a real Indian here - and he loved it. It's not fancy/posh inside though, just normal.

Zaika - in the Al Murooj Rotana - near Dubai Mall or Chutneys in the Movenpick - Bur Dubai - opp American Hospital Been to Indego - food OK, surroundings obviously nice but simply far too overpriced. Paragon Caldicot in Karama - busy and very cheap! edited by beechwooddale on 31/08/2011

Coconut Grove at Rydges Plaza in Satwa. The decor is a bit out there, but lovely views over the city and very reasonable and licensed. They're more South Indian style food (Goan in particular), so have a good choice of fish and seafood on the menu and well as the usual.

Seconding Asha's. I also like the Indian restaurant (can't remember the name) in the Grand Hyatt, and Nina's at the One and Only Royal Mirage / Arabian Court.

I like Asha's at Wafi (also at MOE) and Caesars (lots of locations, we use them for delivery from Barsha)
