Hi everyone This is a very long out dated post but i wanted to give my opinion about the Sheba Salon in dubai silicon oasis. I have been to this salon for a massage, full brazilian wax and eyebrow threading. The massage was good and it was done by a south african tall lady. The same lady did my brazilian wax and eyebrows, however, after the service when i reached home i realized she also threaded my skin off above the eyes and I had small cuts. Also the area where she did my brazilian wax had small cuts which was bleeding. She also does not seem to be very friendly. I have not tried any hair services there. I may give the Irish lady a try for my haircut and hair coloring after reading this post.

Are all the hairdressers at Sheba English / Irish ? Who would be the best for highlights ? Thanks ! The only one that I have ever send there is Michelle. She did an amazing job with my highlights. I am extremely picky with my hair. I also have long very thick hair that is not very easy to highlight.

I went on a recommendation to a guy at Tchip Salon at Ibis and now my hair is a disaster. I explained to him the colour I wanted but the result was wrong. The cut took like 3 secs to do and after being there for 4 hours, I just wanted to leave. Oh and the manicure came off even before I got to the car. So big thumbs down from me. Total cost Dh800 - my blood is still boiling for being ripped off like that.

I went recently to Version Francaise in Marina , my hairdresser was Feri, she was just fantastic, she did heilights and color and cut, I must say I've never been so happy :) She gave me a new look , I just love it !! I can just recommend her to everyone But the marina is nowhere near DSO!

Hello ladies, am new to Dubai and this site. Can I ask firstly is DSO, Silicon Oasis? Also I live in Al Safa area and am looking for a hairdresser, does anyone know of a good one round Jumeira, Al Safa, Marina area? Thank you I have read many good reports on Pastels on Al Wasl Road. I have been to their branch in the Ritz JBR and had my hair done by a junior stylist who was very good, cut was 150. And yes, DSO is Silicon Oasis:) Thank you, will give it a go.

Just a little heads up in re to Sheba Beauty lounge - you may pay with your card but they will not put a tip on the total for you. You must bring cash for the tip. This may be the norm here in DXB don't know. It just really took me off guard and I was unprepared as I am used to just adding the tip to my total and putting it on my card. Is it Sheba or Shima?

A really lovely girl from ireland She is based in the SHEBA beauty lounge.. Is SHEBA the one in the Le Solarium Building next to DESCO printing, or is it somewhere else? tnx No, that's Beauty Avenue. Sheba is in the building where 'Chin chin' in that's never opened (if that helps!) on the way to the smaller Market Spinneys and Costa/Semmer villas

It's based in the apricot building ( that's the name not the colour) The reception ladies are most helpful give great directions. I forgot to add another lovely touch when I arrived they took me to the relaxation room where they offered me coffee etc
