Allo Doctors was the worst experience I had encountered. Last week i went to the Allo Doctors in JLT. They offered a free consultation for gynecology. I have to say it was one of the worst experience I had ever experienced. The female doctor did not speak proper English. Then she told me I had some kind of infection that needed prescription drugs, she kept on insisting that I get the drugs, then come back in weeks, and couldn't tell me what kind of illness I had. I did not believe her due to her unprofessional mannerisms. Next day I go to a large hospital, and had a real doctor check me there. Few days later, my blood lab results and PAP smear came back to be perfectly healthy and normal. I was furious. Ladies, do not trust small clinics, and if you choose smaller clinics, please do your research on the doctors and practices they offer. If it feels at all strange, it is not legit. I had never been treated so poorly. I will never return and I wish no other women have to go through this level of dishonesty when seeking adequate care.

We called 800 doctor recently for an emergency and they were really helpful. Insurance covered most of it as well.

I was told that there was another home doctor service here in Dubai. Apparently one dials "800-doctor". Havent used them myself but was suggested by a friend after she found out I didnt go to hospital when I had the E-coli (until I could extricate myself from the loo anyway) and next time Ill be getting the doctor to come to me! I guess they arent covered by insurance but probably worth it in an emergency

I wrote because I m looking for a French speaking pediatrician when I googled French clinic I found very similar messages in several websites from people who just opened an account like in this case. I believe it is important to have genuine reviews instead of disguised advertising. The clinic may well be great and extremely useful, but since no one was asking for such info about a French clinic, whatever the OP's intention was with this post, it does look like an ad in disguise. So many new posters come on with their first thread saying "I have just found this or that place". Naturally many of us tend, rightly or wrongly, to jump to that conclusion. And as you say ads in disguise are against the rules, there's no harm in a reminder anyway.

it s very often in France to call a doctor who come at home. I had few time call them when my husband had flue and few time for my daughter who could not visit the doctor and they are very efficient. I lived in Paris 15 years and we have exactly same system under name ''SOS medecin'''. In Dubai, this team also worked in Paris and they are highly qualified with hudge experience.. I will not hesitate to call them when needed . they have also their clinic in JLT. so think it s important to share this info when you can not go to the doctor. they are well known fm the french community as well. and it s day and night. thanks Sarah to have shared this info.
