Whether you need Platinum or not should be determined by the gym you plan to frequent; if it is a Platinum gym then you need a Platinum membership; however there are different "levels": off peak, being able to access other gyms, etc. and this affects the price.
I recently paid 4,499 for 12 months plus 3 months free but it was supposedly an August special promotion; you could probably still push for it and get it. This is all hours, all gyms access btw.
If you see my other post regarding FF you'll see that I don't rate them high at all; if there are other options near where you live/work, I suggest you reconsider your choice.
Platinum membership is only if you want to use gyms all over the place. Easier just to have a home gym membership.
The prices will vary as maybe your friends joined during promotional offer periods.
Personally there are better gyms out there these days.
I'm not sure what the point of the platinum membership is - it's supposed to give you access to different clubs but I've heard that some clubs are now "platinum plus" and even "platinum plus plus" and if you show up with your platinum card they won't let you in?
Hi Ladies,
Still just wondering about Fitness First membership (Platinum) fees because my colleague says she pays 500 AED per month and another friend pays 450 AED, they are not with a corporate package. I was given a price of 525 AED. I want to join but of course I want the best price ;)
TIA
