I use to love them and wear them all the time. After having two babies I can't seem to be comfortable in them.

Ladies, please tell me. Am I the only one who hates thongs? I feel like I'm the weirdo who loves wearing underwear that isn't up my you know what all day long. My husband loves thongs but I detest them - really, how comfortable can they possible be? Hate them too. I prefer cotton boy shorts or hipsters. No lace or satin for me either.

sorry but you can always see when someone is wearing a thong - esp in white trousers and it's not a pretty sight. If you are worried about VPL, then wear boy shorts and its not noticeable. I don't care what kind of undergarment you're wearing under your white linen pants, they can always be seen (you might only be showing lines, but thats just as bad).....even boy shorts. The only way they won't be seen is if you're wearing undies in nude color.

Once described as the M25 of Bacterial Infection! That sounds awful but after more than 20 years I've never had an infection.

It's more unsightly to see a huge lumpy @rse showing through white linen trousers with a thong! Dear God!

That is so yuk CT. sorry to say so. WHo can get used to a wedge inbetween their crack? I would spend the entire day with my hand down my pants yanking it out. Besides, I hate looking at womens buts in pants, and you can see they are wearing a g through it..... Did you hear about ladies getting infections from these? Once described as the M25 of Bacterial Infection!

Big pants, big pants, big pants. I knew DH was the one for me when he said, "What's wrong with big pants? Wear what's comfortable!" *Applauds wildly* I could show home movies on mine. :\: My ex-DH used to refer to them as apple-catchers. I'm pretty sure these days melon-catchers would be more appropriate :D.

Thongs are necessary if u wear fitted pants. Its v unsightly to see those knicker lines on the sides. Otherwise I agree thongs r not the most comfortable of garments :-)

Big pants, big pants, big pants. I knew DH was the one for me when he said, "What's wrong with big pants? Wear what's comfortable!" Having said that, I do wear a thong/G-string when I'm going out and wearing jeans. For some ridiculous reason it makes me feel more dressed up! :D

I like the ones for your feet and for your bits :) I wear knickers when wearing a dress or skirt and a g-string when wearing pants or shorts. The key to comfortable g-strings/thongs is to always buy them one size bigger than your regular knickers eg. If you buy a 12 in knickers get a g-string in a 14. It really only takes a couple of days at most to get used to wearing one with the whole 'piece of string between my cheeks' thing more in your head that an actual uncomfortable feeling.
