I agree with Sanddy_Dogg.....go :) the Uncle's wife will appreciate you being there for her during this sad time. Sod the Ex & the new missus :cool:

Based on that, I think you should go. You can flick the v's behind the ex's back if he doesn't like it but you'll kick yourself for a long time if you want to go and don't.

I'm not really on good terms with my ex (we don't really speak) and hadn't planned on attending but his cousin and his father have said that I should go as I'm still part of the family. I also have a good relationship with the uncle's wife.

Are you still on good terms with your ex? Perhaps worth asking him or the family of his who you still speak to whether they would mind you going to pay your respects. Tough one but good luck.. Sorry to hear your sad news

Will it cause friction for you to be there? If you're not likely to rip each other's throats out then I would go, but keep my distance form the ex and his wife.
