Hi anyone have recent experience for Ovarian cyst removal in Dubai. Please recommend a Doctor for me.

HI Hirawije, I highly recommend Dr Ibrahim Abd Elrahman. I had a full hysterectomy with him a few years back. absolutely amazing Dr, No fuss and straight talker and i was back at work in 3 weeks post op. Hope you get better soon.

Dr Nirmala at Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Healthcare City. She carried out my surgery at medcare and I would highly recommend her. Good luck with it. Mine was Dermoid ovarian cyst which I was...

I am so glad that it you have been cured of cysts. I just needed to know as I am also getting a dermoid cyst removed. Were they able to save the ovary?

Thanks, CP and QP, she's much better now, but has almost 6 weeks' worth of school to catch up on - she'd only been at her new school for a week when it happened, so it didn't do a lot for her social life, either. Yup, you're right, of course, Dogcatcher, the surgeon would have liked to have performed keyhole surgery on my daughter, but the ovary was the size of a cantaloupe melon by the time it was discovered, so unfortunately, she had to be sliced.. The cut is below the bikini line and daughter is not planning to go into a profession where that sort of scar will matter ;)

I cannot recommend anyone here but have had the surgery in the past. Keyhole is the trick now a days, no more slicing. Recovery is fairly easy. I had my appendix and a cyst removed so I was hunched over a little longer. All will go well, tell her not to worry!

Wholeheartedly recommend Dr Jennifer at Welcare Hospital, Garhoud. My daughter was recently admitted as an emergency with a massive twisted ovarian cyst which had been undiagnosed for at least a couple of years. Dr Jennifer was fantastic, I am certain that she did her utmost to save the ovary and the Fallopian Tube, but unfortunately, they were in such a state that she couldn't. The whole emergency team and nursing staff were excellent. Good luck.

Dr Wael Summar from the German clinic performed the surgery at Emirates hospital on Beach Rd, assisted by Dr Amal Shunnar. 6 months later a random gyno at Belhoul European was very impressed with the way the cysts had been removed. I believe it was a series of small dermoid cysts. I would go to Emirates hospital again for a day surgery, the pre surgery prep and the post surgery care were fantastic, the nurses very kind. <em>edited by Apricot on 21/11/2011</em>
