I'm looking for artificial flowers as real flowers are so expensive in the UAE. I did buy some from dragon mart but after a while the white tulips and calla Lillys starting turning yellow and no matter what I did to clean them the staining would not get removed. would you be able to tell me where I can get real touch and real look artificial flowers from in the UAE and also would you happen to have the details of where you sourced the class A silk flowers from in France please thanks

In UAE, flowers mainly imported from outside country which is one of the key reason why they don't last longer in comparison to country where they were grown. Moreover climate is UAE is not flower friendly. Anyways, the things above are not in our control but we can take some care of flowers so that they can stay little more and we can preserve the same joyful feeling that we received on receiving flowers for a longer time too. Flowers are like babies, they need to be fed and loved. Here are some friendly tips so that you can enjoy flower for more. https://www.flowerstationdubai.com/pages/simple-flower-care-tips Also Tulips are one of the most sensitive flowers but you can give it a try with other long lasting flowers such as lily, eustoma, gerbera and I believe they you will be happy with their longevity too. About silk/artificial flowers, they are mainly categories into 3 classes based on quality and texture of material used. A. Real touch & Real look (most expensive) B. Real look (moderate cost) C. Others (economical) We have sourced some Class A silk flowers from France for one of our project which were made of high quality material but they were so expensive.

The furniture shop right opposite Debenhams in Dubai Mall has a large selection of really nice ones (quite far inside the store). I'm going to get some as it's too expensive buying fresh ones! this is Q - good flowers aren't they!

Thats the one thing I really really miss here, fresh flowers!! Used to pick up tulips from roadside stalls on the way back from school. When I moved even if I splashed on a bouquet the flowers from a florist they would last at least a week. Here I've been given flowers and bought some and they've lasted only two or three days :(:(:(:( Makes me want to cry... Have not found artificial ones that look real enough to me yet.

Dragon mart! There's a lot of rubbish, but if you take the time, you'll find some really good quality stuff at a great price. I agree, I have bought some really good ones from Dragon Mart

I bought some in The One a couple of years ago which I thought looked quite real. I also bought some orchids in pots from Bayti and a good friend who grew up in Malaysia thought they were real - she said that showed how good they were. Not sure if they still have them though.
