Now come on!!! We're all egging on the Op to tell the neighbour as we want to hear the gossip that may come about from it!!! :) Sorry but I couldn't resist adding this link. You may have to be the more mature lady to remember this wonderful double act and no offense to anybody!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obq1JOIOYkA Les Dawson was a great comedian, one of the best. Guess that makes me one of the more maturer ladies lol. Join the club kimball! From your user name I am deducing that we are both of the same age! Jeez, that didn't take Einstein to work it out eh?!!!!! :) Yeah 65 a bit of a give-away lol. 

now that sounds like a nosy parker lol...why not tell the truth. A taxi driver was in your house last night while you were away. He was there for about 1/2 hr. Thought I would let you know , just in case. Sorry but when someone comes to see me and asks if everything is ok, and it is not a close friend, I smell nosy lol and would not say a thing. But, if they told me a cab driver was in my house for 30 min, different story :) besides, if you really were worried about the family you might have called the police, right? :) just my thought.

If a taxi driver was in my house for more than 30 minutes while I was out, I would want to know..150% Just use the I was a bit concerned approach. Is everything Ok? By chance - I saw the taxi driver go into your place last night, u'r car was out, was worried about the family so late at night.. Good luck...

tell her them! even if it is all a misunderstanding in these situations it is not worth the risks. if there is so lewd conduct going on in thier house and they are caught they can be fined. Sometimes this is all part of a "shake up" so to speak. The driver has relations and threatens to tell unless there is a pay-off. I know, I know- I am jumping ahead but anything is possible here

Definitely tell her. Particularly if it is possible that the kids were in the house.

Sorry didn't mention the LO's or owners out in OP, it was just a quick mail inbetween baths & bed - I just happened to witness the 'incident' wasn't intentionly being nosy - just thought I would ask advise, as I for one would not like my 'helper entertaining' whilst I was out, and if it did, I would appreciate someone telling me - think I will go with DesertRose - what have I got to loose :)

In agree as well, from original post there was no mention of children in the house or the fact the parents were out!

Just tell your neighbour straight out! Last night a taxi came to your house and he went inside for half an hour. I thought you might want to know. I would if it were me. What can she say? Thanks for that or get lost, nosy cow? I would say.

How can it be the maid getting a late night booty call? This is not in the maid folder so I assumed it was the homeowner/neighbour And that there is the trouble with having a separate maid's folder. Where do these mystery posts belong?

You must say something and not hesitate in doing so. If it was all above board the worst you'll feel is silly, and thats Ok. edited by DesertRose1958 on 04/02/2011 I agree.

How do you bring that up, with a neighbor whom you don't know at all? "Sorry to be completely nosy and almost desperate housewives stalkeresque, but is your maid f-ing a taxi driver?"

if the neighbour is calling a taxi driver to have *** with him in the middle of the night, I'd assume she already knows. I don't think it's the home owner getting the midnight booty call.
