hey guys i used to see dr aziz at city until june2, thats when my twin boys were born...well to be frank with u guys its not been a pleasant journey throught my pregnancy to birth of my twins with her...because i was carrying twins she kept pushing me to have a c-section, which i was not keen on at all i kept telling her let me try for normal delivery and if things take a nasty turn then we can go for emergency c-section...she kept telling me im risking there lives coz its a high risk as there identical twins and share a placenter...i did try for other drs who would allow for me to have a normal delivery but my luck that dr was on leave...well she won in the end and i had to have a c-section...and now the 'funny thing' once my babies were born the next day after a nurse bathe my babies she said to me there not identical, i told her yeh mayb coz one was born smaller in weight and size then twinA...but guess wht...thery are now 2months old mashallah and guess wht THEY LOOK NOTHING LIKE EACH OTHER!!!...she got me BADD!!!...that scam ppl talk about Dr's pushing u to hav c-sections so thy can make money its sooo true...it upsets me off just thinking about it!!!

i dont know about Dr. Aziz, but Dr. Elsa did the same with me, prescribed me antibiotics before the test results came in, she said its not to take any chances, maybe its the policy of City Hospital. Though Dr. Elsa was always gentle with the checkups.

Just want to give my feedback after a few visits with Dr Aziz .... I am not particularly happy or comfortable with her. She seems 'nice' enough but a bit vague and not so professional. Today, I went to see her thinking I might have an infection (28 weeks pregnant) as I had some pain down below (sorry TMI) but my urine came back as normal from the stick test but said she would send the urine off to labs for culture which is more specific and she said in the mean time she will give me antibiotics and to take them and if the results came back negative then I should stop. So I asker her why she was giving me antibiotics when so far everything seems normal and she hasnt found any infection and she just said that there wasnt any major risk so I might as well take them because I might have cystisis...... Not very happy about that ..... who prescribes and tells pregnant women to take medication that they may not need???!!! I also asked her to do a swab test (and I hate any internal checks/tests) and she wasnt very gentle and just shoved the clamp thing in and when she could see it hurt she just carried on!! Not very pleasant and not happy with her at all ......... Just my opinion but thought Id share it with any girls seeing her for the first time/s and unsure.

Ladies, this might be late for some of you but I have been going to Dr. Aziz for the past 2 years and am very happy with her. She helped with a traumatic pregnancy a year and ahalf back, she was with Dubai Hospital then. I was initially going to a private clinic in Jumeirah but that doctor put me through **** right from the brginning. Mine was a high risk pregnancy so I had to visit him every 10 days and each time he gave us some needless scare about the pregnancy being ectopic, or the fetal heartbeat not being there anymore, etc. after 4 months something did go wrong. That's when I started seeing Dr. Aziz and she was really good through those terrible months that followed. I found her very warm and compassionate, and she never pushed me for any unnecessary tests or procedures. Last year i got pregnant again and thanks to her I have a beautiful daughter now. My husband I have been trying to have a baby for 7 years, and have been to at least 20 different doctors here, including all kinds of fertility/ infertility specialists and have gone through numerous tests. She has handled my case very well, and kept it fairly simple through it all without any invasive procedures which in my case have often contributed to a miscarriage. So I have nothing but praise for her. She is pretty good with any questions that you might have, so I suggest ask away!

Thank you so much Kaba. It is reassuring that you are continuing with her, it means that she is actually ok. Good luck and keep us updated if you can? Thanks again;)

Hi Ladies, that post about Dr. Aziz was from me before I had her full name. I just saw her for the first time today not knowing what to expect. It was just a quick visit but I felt very comfortable with her. Best of luck to you both.

Hi Manubhadauria, I am also due to see her in 2 weeks time because Dr Yulia is leaving City hospital. I could not find ANYTHING about her at all. there is another tread here (link below) about a "Dr. Aziz" which I suspect is the same person, but again, no one has delivered with her and there is no info on the net, no comments, nothing, nada! :( http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=142705
