Hi ladies,

Can anyone recommend a good place to get fitted for and to buy a couple of nursing bras? I was thinking Destination Maternity but not sure if they do fittings and haven't seen their range so not sure if any good. I'm not meant to be on my feet for long so want a quick in and out trip to get sorted - last thing on my list!

it might be an idea to wait until a couple of weeks after you've delivered to give chance for the size to settle down, you might find that any bras you buy before then do not fit after your milk has come in. I didn't see any point in wearing a bra in the house for the first month or two anyway!! I got measured in Marks and Spencer and Mothercare, M&S bras were better/more supportive. They don't measure no more in debenhams or marks n spencer as I've have had to wear different maternity bras I'm due in September and haven't been able to wear a wire bra since mid pregnancy. They now say that because of all the different makes coming up in different sizes it's best to try on all different types of sizes to find out your size. Have a at bravissimo online tells u how a bra should fit.

i dropped some serious hints and had DH buy me a nursing bra from "hot milk" a NZ brand that dubai babies stocks. dubaibabies.com will also deliver and the online store for hot milk has guidelines for sizing. they are the only lovely ones i could find. though M and S are ok for everyday comfy nursing bras and the lady at DFC did a nice job of measuring me there. good luck!

M&S and Debenhams. I think m&s are the best... i have been in thier nursing bras since 2009... unfortunately they dont ever change thier designs, so it is v boring.

I found Debenhams in MOE not that bad for the measuring. The most beautiful bras I found online - look for the site blush and bloom.

I am also due mid Sept! I got my bras in Australia when I went home a month ago as I know you can never really get great help with fitting here. Some tips that I was given - make sure you get one size bigger to allow for when the milk comes in and no under wire. Under wire can restrict the milk flow so you shouldn't be wearing underwire after 5 months apparently (but I was until 7 months). That's all the advice I can remember sorry. This will be my first baby so all new to me.

Hi, I stopped into Destination Maternity last week for the same thing. I wasn't very impressed with the selection they had (or the price). I didn't ask about having one fitted. I'd also love to find a good place to buy a few!
