Thanks Curly, yes looks like I will have the first June baby! Did you decide on your double pram? - I know we were discussing this on another thread! We ended up going with the P&T as I was in Bumble Bee and they had 10% off that day so I ended up getting a great deal. Our 19 month old has loved being pushed around in it but not sure how good she is going to be at going in the bottom...! I will keep you all posted and good luck to you all.

Hi suznz, delighted to hear you are happy with your care at Al Wasl also. From all accounts we and our babies are in the best place for medical care so thats a load off in any case. Have you asked re booking a private room? I don't know what the procedure is except it goes on availability. I am back again on Sunday week and will ask my questions for admission etc but just wondered. Curly

I'm also due on the 14th June and going to deliver at Al Wasl! Was planning to go back to NZ for the delivery but ended up being admitted to Al Wasl with DVT last month (only a few days before I left!) But am actually very happy with the care that I received there. Baby also has an etopic heartbeat, so my seemingly easy pregnancy went from easy to high-risk overnight! This is our first, so not looking forward to the labour... but does anyone?! have had BH since 16 weeks but now I've noticed that they are getting stronger, more intense and frequent. Thought she could come the other night, but luckily the contractions started to ease off later in the night after they were coming all afternoon. Is anyone else as impatient as I am? I want to hurry up and meet this little person... But only another month to go....

Hi all, I am 36 wks on Saturday, due June 14th. In general feeling good except have alot of pain "down below" so much so walking any length is not desirable. Not great when I have a 19 month old DD who is very active and wants lots of play time. I am going to Al Wasl and while all my appointments/scans with them or the clinic have been smooth and gone well I can't help start to get a bit anxious about the actual labour/delivery. I had my DD at Medcare and was induced due to water around her reducing in the last month. Therefore I kinda feel like I am doing it all for the first time - diff circumstances and diff hospital etc and no idea what doctor will actually deliver my baby ... anyway I'll hope for the best and at the end of the day I know the care both me and the baby will get will be good even if we have to forego the other ... Good luck all, keep us all posted .... Alimart, looks like you will prob the first of us to go ;o)

hi all, my due date is 10 June but I now have scheduled a c-section for 1 June as we are having another big baby, my last labour of 17 hours ended in a csection as my daughter was over 4kg. I'm really nervous this time as I didn't have a lot of time to think about the c-section last time - I was exhausted by that stage! Hope you are all keeping well and keep us posted when your little ones arrive.

Any updates on June ladies? I'm 36 weeks, 3cm dilated, lost my mucus plug 2 days ago and cramping since then. I literally can't sleep at night from anxiety (that's why I'm posting at 1 am) :( Good luck! xox

Hello all! I just recently joined the boards since we will be moving to Dubai in the next few weeks. I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second, due June 29th. I also have a 4-yr-old daughter. I'm looking forward to meeting other moms with kids/babies close in ages. We're looking at villas in Arabian Ranches, the Villa, and a couple other places. Has everyone already registered at a hospital? That will be priority on my list of things to do upon arrival. Good luck to all, hope to meet some of you soon! I'm due on the 29th too :) We'll have to keep in touch to see who pops first! :) How old are your other kiddos? I'm 33 weeks today and going for my check up this am @ MedCare. Baby is lying low now and it's getting hot and uncomfortable! My other 2 are 7 years and 2.5 years old. Can't wait now!

Hello everyone! We just moved to Dubai and am 24wks pregnant with my second boy...the first being 3.4yrs now. We're in the Meadows and if anyone's in the vicinity, we'd love for you to come by for a playdate or just 'mommy time'. Older one doesn't start nursery till April 11th so we're trying to fill the calendar with lots of play until then! Hope all pregnancies are going well and mommies are glowing:)

Shame Leen that is awful, I was very lucky this time around and was hardly sick at all. Just had a scan, I'm 26 weeks and all is well, got some really cute pictures. We have a big boy coming our way thought as already measuring 2 weeks and 3 days ahead! Hope all the June babies mums are doing well :) We're having a boy too who's also measuring 2 weeks 3 days ahead! My first boy was 9 pounds and he always measured bigger than his due date, my little girl was 7 pounds so who knows how big this one will be! Was sick as a dog through the whole pregnancy with my little girl but both boys have been fine. Hope everyone else is doing well too.

Hey Had my big scan yesterday and am thrilled to say all looks good. Baby weight and measurements are looking good for dates. I didn't find out if a boy or girl, just happy to know all is looking good. S/he kept putting her hands up over his/her face so didnt see the 4D images unfortunately. Next time hopefully. Take care, Curly

I had that scan done on Saturday and all looks well apart from we have a very big baby (again!). My dr is still happy to wait until 34 weeks to decide whether I will have a c-section again or can try normal. My weight gain is stressing me out but my dr reassured me that 15-20kg overall is fine to gain. Hope all is well and you are not all feeling as tired as me!

Hi there Congrats Misby. I am on the Nursery hunt for my 16 month DD, although it will prob be Sept before she starts. I might send her to a summer camp for a month after the baby comes to get her used to it and give me some time. I am thinking of just a 3 day week at the moment but the Nursery hunt is a minefield (not to mention expensive). Like you Alimart I have my 22 week scan coming up, mine is Monday next. I can't wait although will have to remember to tell the doc NOT to tell me s$x. Surprise all the way for me ... lol Hope everyone is doing good and feeling well.

Hi Misby007, our dd is also at nursery and also at Hummingbird as I work in the DIFC. At the moment we are thinking of leaving her there (just doing reduced hours) as our new baby will also go there once I have to come back to work at 4 months. I have my 22 week scan on Saturday so looking forward to seeing the little guy again! Hope you are all doing well.

Hi all, Congratulations everyone! I am also due in June and have a 1 year old boy as well. I am so pleased there are some others there doing the '2 under 2' thing - most people seem to think it's a bit crazy! Is anyone thinking of sending their elder ones to nursery? Our little boy already goes to Hummingbird as I am still working, but am thinking of moving him to one closer to where we live, and doing a couple of mornings a week to give me some with the new baby. I am also not going to find out if it's a boy or girl this time I think (if I don't accidentally see on the u/s!) Hope it will be a nice surprise at the end of 9 months :)

Hi all Just had my 20 week scan today and all is well, baby is now measuring about 7 days ahead so looking even more like we will be having another big baby (dd was 4.13kg!) My dh got Dr Jozsa to confirm again that we were having a boy and he said again he is 100% sure he is a boy! We got some great pictures this time. I also had the glucose testing done, that was so hard as couldn't eat until about lunch time as they had to do 3 blood tests and 3 urine sames in 2 hours. Hope you are all feeling well!

Hi Curly Congrats! You have a little girl of pretty much the same age as mine, I remember we were pregnant at the same time last time and are due quite close to each other again- I am due 9 June. I totally hear you about having 2 under 2 but from reading some posts on here, it will be hard but we will manage! Hope you are feeling well this time! Hi alimart, thanks and congrats to you too. That's funny that we are very much in line with our babies and next babies ;o) Yes we will manage with the two under two I'm sure. Are you thinking of sending your little one to nursery? I am feeling great thanks, exhausted for first 14 wks but good since. We were home for Christmas and its taken me almost 2 wks to shake the tiredness from the trip back. Think having a very active 15 month old has something to do with that! I worked full time throughout my first pregnancy but can safely say that I am more tired being a SAHM with this pregnancy. We'll have to keep in touch re our progress. Hope you're doing good too. Curly

Hi Ladies, Congrats to you all. I am expecting number two on June 14th having a little girl of 15 months already. Am slightly (ok hugely) daunted at the prospect of having two baba's under two but no doubt it will all work out somehow. I had my DD at Medcare but am going to Al Wasl this time around and had a scan last week at just under 18 weeks and everything looks good thank God and should have my big scan in the next couple of weeks. Am not going to find out what this baby is as my opinion is after all the hard work of the nine months it will be nice to have a little surprise at the end of it all. I just have to remember each time I am being scanned to tell the doc not to tell me what the $ex is as in my experience they seem very quick to say it as its more the norm here to know in advance. So it will be nice to stay in touch and see how we are all doing. Hope everyone is feeling well and the pregnancies are going great. Curly

Hi all and Happy New Year! We had the 16 week scan just before we went on holiday and the dr could then clearly see that we are having a boy (very excited as we have a little girl now). With our daughter though they said there was 70% chance she was a boy but then at about 20 weeks they confirmed we were having a girl so think it just depends on how they are a lying at the time. Hope you are all feeling well. I have been so lucky this time, almost 18 weeks now and only had a bit of sickness and mostly at night after I take my pre-natal vitamin. I have just bought a different type so hopefully they don't make me as sick. I'm also starting to show now - so much quicker than my first!!

Hi Ladies Hope everyones well my Gynae here in Qatar told me she would be able to tell from 15 weeks onwards ? I have my next scan in 2 weeks so will be 17 weeks then and have been told they will be able to tell ? I'm starting to get a little bump now but if anybody looked at me they would just think I was fat !

Hi Is anyone else as desperate as I am to find out the baby's gender??!! The two of us (and my side of the family) can't wait as none of us are very good at surprises at all! But I'm just worried that it could be wrong - does anyone know if that happens very often? If they are told they are having a girl and then it comes out a boy??!! But only 2 and a half weeks to my next scan to find out - can't believe that I'm already gone 16 weeks and I still don't have a bump! I want to start showing as then you can see a reason why I feel tired all the time!! Hope everyone is having a good pregnancy and it's not too rough...
