there's a german dermatologist that i saw when i was pregnant - i forget his name, he sits at BR medical suites in healthcare city. i had horrible horrible eczema. anyway, i thought he was a real jerk, but he was the only one that gave me something that helped. still a jerk, but knowledgeable.

Dr Anwar is definitely an expert in dermatoses in pregnant women. He is now at the DernaMed Clinic in Wafi mall too - and is usually less booked up there.

Hi Mommypie, I recommend Dr Anwar in City Hospital. I had something very similar during pregnancy and he sorted it all out with safe antibiotics. If you ring they will tell you there is a two week waiting list so just tell them you want a walk in appointment and just turn up, he will see you.....you can ask to be triple booked over the phone or as I said ask for a walk in, good luck! Thank you for the reply Daquiri. I tried to call for appt but no luck. I guess walk-in and will beg as my itching is now unbearable. I'm like a mad woman with this situation. As per my OB my baby is unharmed with this itching but I want to see a specialist to be safe than sorry. Thanks again. You're welcome, hope you got to see him, let us know how you got on. ;-)

I recommend you avoid der macare clinic. I had a bad experience there. Over priced, they charge the same fee for follow ups and consultations. And the dr was very pushy to give a long course of anti biotics, which only temporarily solved the problem. Dr was not interested in listening to my worries about taking long term medication (like antibiotics were not dangerous like roacutane and I had nothing to worry about). I just wanted a creme for a few unwanted blemishes. I know it's not related to your problem at all. Busy clinics and doctors who don't have a lot of available appointments may be a sign that the doctor is good, as there are not a lot of skilled dermatologists here. Most have gone commercial and more into cosmetic dermatology.

Dear Ladies, I have been miserable and desperate to find a cure or at least a good relief for PUPPS or Polymorphic eruption of pregnancy but since Im preggo, i can't just take steroids or cream over the counter. It's getting worse at 36th week and i'm on my 38th week now that spread all over. Please recommend any reputable dermatologist that you know is knowledgeable about this.
