Tinker Bell, just don't give up hope. I was told I would never conceive naturally by the experts, I went did IVF twice and had one miscarriage. All in a very short space of time. Not really giving my body time to recover. Decided that the thought of babies were taking over my life and I just wanted to get our lives back on track. Moved out to Dubai and got a new job and what happens six months into my new fab paying job I fall pregnant naturally. Positive thinking. Sending you lots of baby dust your way. x

Sorry to hear that babes...just try NOT to blame yourself for anything. We women have a tendency of looking for the mistake within ourselves, but these things are just not up to us. I wish you all the best and hope that you will not give up. I took us 3 years, 2 IUI, 1 miscarriage and an IVF to get our little boy ...

Thinking of you Tinkerbell, been checking the threads to see your result. I haven't had IVF but tried IUI and that didn't work for us either :( I'm trying to take a break myself now...clear the mind! Easier said than done though...sending loads of babydust your way x

Dear All, I would like to thank you all for your wishes and support ,Unfortunatley I had a negative result :( I don't know the exact number as I was devestated to even ask ! but after crying it out I believe evrything happens for a reason and this must be the best outcome for me. I still have 3 frozen emroys that I can use later... I deceided to take a couple of month off thinking about babies and return in full throttle ready for the next cycle. For all of you brave ladies going through IVF I'm wishing all the best x

Hi Tinker Bell, When I did IVF I took two weeks off work after my transfer. I was mostly in bed reading good books and since I love tv series I rented all the series which I wanted to catch up with. I was watching Grey's ANatomy marathon and so on. A great way to make time fly. I also took home pregnancy tests, I think the first one 12 days after retrieval and I got a faint positive. I did 6 tests before my blood test confirmed the pregnancy because I couldn't wait. I also had to go in once in a while to get my ovaries checked out (they were hyperstimulated). Since the ovaries stayed big and maybe got even bigger that was also an indication that I could be pregnant because the baby was stimulating them even more. I also had pretty bad cramps 5 and 7 days after embryo transfer (4 day transfer) and those were implantation cramps. Good luck!

I dont even remember how I survived the wait but my best friend flew over to take care of me and time went by a whole lot faster thanks to her visit...wish you all the best. Thank you Yasmine .. I actualy have a solid support system here ,my hubby, friends and family..and of course you now :) In that case all will be fine...I have to admit I didnt wait the full period before I tested... if I remember correctly the first time I peed on a stick was after 9 days.. and it was positive..

we've been trying to concieve for 5 years and after 4 IUI's fails we decided to go for IVF ... which is by far the most difficult in my journey to concieve. Anyway i just did the embryo transfer on friday and the doctor gave me instructions to stay in bed for 2 days!! my pregnancy test is in 15 days, I wonder if anyone has been through this rollercoster and how did you survive the 2 week wait ?
