My gorgeous little boy has arrived! I had a show and other impending labour twinges on Sunday so delivery day was bumped up and he arrived on Monday morning. He's perfect and everything is wonderful. Sorry to hear the first turning didn't work srdoucet. Fingers crossed he gets his head down. My little boy was transverse until a couple of days before he arrived so hopefully yours will just be late in turning too. Good luck!

Well no luck :( I hope no one has to get an external turning. It's like some one kneading bread and really mad. Unfortunately they got him into the correct position and let go he went back into the transverse lie in seconds. She sent me home. So if nothing happens by Saturday I go in again and they try turning again and if nothing works automatic c section

So here is the latest update. I will be 38 weeks tomorrow or Thursday. Dr did the scan yesterday and he did a flip but is still in the unstable breech position. Due to his positioning and risk of cord coming out first I'm going to the the hospital on Saturday. Dr is going to try turning the baby and then when he's in the right position I will be induced. Hopefully all will go as hoped and then the baby boy should arrive late Saturday. Wish you all the Very Best for Saturday srdoucet! Pray you have a safe & normal delivery! My little ones still breech at 36 weeks... Dr says we will wait until the end for her to turn as she is right into my ribs and it hurts!

Gillian that sounds really good for twins. Toys r us has some preemie clothes. Best of luck with everything. I'm heading to the dr tomorrow. Hitting 38 weeks now so for once I'm heading to term. Unfortunately the little guy is still laying straight across.

36 weeks is considered full term for twins so fact I'm having section at 37 weeks means their well n truly baked! 2 weeks ago they were both over 2kgs each, ha e last growth scan this week so hopefully they'll have grown a bit more. Judging by the size of my tum I'd guess they're doing just that. I hear you all with sciatica, lack of sleep issues! I made the mistake of going on a steam cleani g frenzy on Fri as decided dh has a dust allergy, I was broken yest! Loads better today though thank goodness! Just looking forward to meeting my boys and hoping my girl falls in love too!

Ohh I feel u EDF8 but congrats abt healthy baby wght!... even though am in week 35+3 days.. baby has been head down for 2 weeks already... excruciating back pain and sciatica as I already have 2 slipped discs...sleeping has become a distant dream... very uncomfortable thru the night and wen am about to doze off have to get up to pee! Am not walking these days..am waddling... and plan to work till my due date of 10th March.....hope and pray to bake baby well!

I'm 37 + 4 days...due date is the 2 march! Baby is head down, and doctor estimated s/he is already 7 lbs 9 oz!! I finish work tomorrow, so can't wait for a bit of attempting to relax before baby arrives! Not sleeping very much these days, SPD is horrific and back pain increasing! Hope this little one comes soon!!

That's no good, hopefully he is getting ready for a last minute turn. Fingers crossed he turns soon. Last minute nerves have kicked in for me so I'm a bit anxious and just can't wait to meet him. I also can't wait to not feel so sick and sore all the time! Not long now.

Hello March Mommies, Been a while since i got to get on the forum, reading through the recent posts i wonder why would most mom want their babies pop out earlier than 38 weeks? isn't 38 weeks and after considered full term? As for me will be 36 weeks on thurs! Terrible SPD Pain backs like breaking, cant wait for baby to come out.... For me it's not wanting it but I've had two premature labors in the past and was believing it would happen again.

Congratulations gilliannavarro! When I went I had my second baby my first child was two. I made her a book explaining where I was going and what I doing and where the new baby would sleep when we got home and that she was going to be a big sister and how much I loved her. We read it in the weeks leading up to the birth and my husband read it to her at home when I was in hospital. She's seven now and still looks at it! Another thing I've done is when my older children have come in to meet the new baby for the first time is I've had my baby lying in the cot so my arms are free to give them lots of reassuring cuddles. Once they've had cuddles from me baby comes out the cot for cuddles from them. I also bake a cake and blow up some balloons and we have a little turning zero party for the baby in the hospital room. Small presents from children to new baby and a small present from new baby to children.

Had my appointment today. Still can't believe I got to a week after both my boys were born. No labor in the near future as there is no dilation. The baby is still breech and apparently considered unstable. Guess its one of those breech babies that its risky to try turning him. So hopefully he will turn on his own.

srdoucet: you are not alone! I am 35+4days and have been feeling miserable. Had flu like symptoms yesterday, sweats, chills, super tired, drowsy, cant sleep, sit or eat like you. Then the worst came : sharp shooting pains in my chest with shortness of breath, tingling in my legs. Anyhow spend about 5 hrs in the ER today to get tested for many things. All my tests came normal, baby girl is doing fine. Dr. said its just a viral infection. She said to rest plenty and drink lots of fluids. So yes, this is all normal in pregnancy. I just feel like i'm falling apart!! So lets hang in there together, we're almost there!! :)

Good work getting to 36 weeks srdoucet! Fingers crossed for you that bubs holds on a bit longer. If it puts your mind at ease at bit, all the symptoms you've listed are pretty common for the last month of pregnancy. It's exactly as I've always felt, it's SO uncomfortable and it's gotten worse with each pregnancy. The first wasn't actually too bad but on my fourth now and I constantly feel like I'm about to go in to labour any minute. The pressure and cramps are probably the worst, especially as they have me running to the bathroom constantly. Anyway, I hope it's just late pregnancy ills you are feeling (as awful as it is), not imminent labour! Have you had the lung maturing injection in case you deliver early? I've had some complications and have had two previous c-sections so will be delivering at 38 weeks, I'm booked to get the lung injection next week.

Well I don't know how you ladies do it going full term. Today I'm 36 weeks and its the longest I've ever carried. Luckily I have my dr appointment today because I haven't been feeling well. Yes I know some are normal symptoms but some of them I've had just prior to labor. Lower back pain, stomach pressure, cramps for the first time like menstrual cramps, nauseous today, leg pain. I know some deal with it well and have it for a long time but geez. I can't sleep, walk, sit and now even eating isn't appealing.

Daza: I'm also delivering at American. Who is your Dr? Mine is Dr. Raj. Dr Tazyeen, she has her own clinic so isn't a staff doctor there. I've only ever been to her so no experience with the staff doctors at American. The last time I delivered at American (3 years ago) the food was terrible! I spent yesterday getting the freezer stocked with meals for my husband to bring in to me in case things haven't improved.
