Got GTT results today, completely confused!! fasting 85 which is ok, 1hr failed: 187 and 2 hrs: 130 which is ok! So awaiting docs appt to find out if I have gestational diabetes ??First appt with Dr.Luthra at Medcare tmrw.....wish me luck!

Hello all, I am 14 weeks pregnant, and I will give birth at Latifa hospital , I'd really like to know your experiences, especially, this is my first pregnancy. Thank you in advance Hi cogitosoul Congratulations on your pregnancy! Such as exciting time, especially being your first. This thread is specifically for people with March 2013 due dates but I think at 13 weeks you will have a June 2013 due date (apologies if wrong, it's hard working out edd backwards)? There is a thread on the board for June due dates, if you post on there you will be able to talk to other ladies who are around the same stage of pregnancy to you. I haven't yet been to Latifa hospital but they have the most specialist care for acute cases so I'm sure you will be in very good hands. Good luck with everything.

Also American, I had my two girls delivered there and it was a nice experience, nothing to complain about except the food :) The first time I went, in 2008 it was really good. However my last visit in 2010 was really disappointing, I found the nurses awful. And yes, the food, blurgh! Think I'll be packing my own this time.

Yey!! So where's everyone planning to deliver? i'm torn between choosing Welcare or City, with city being on Direct billing on my Insurance and Welcare not, wanted so much to get an appointment with Dr. Elsa but she is busy until after April :( so have to make do with Dr. Britt. Else Dr. Janaki at Welcare who i saw for baby # 1

Hey all I'm due 24th march with twin boys. Have 2 yr old girl and starting to get that worn out feeling....putting it down to twins as didn't feel like thus with dd. Going to city with Dr Ibrahim all good so far, prob deliver first week in march :)

I am! Although it's an early March due date so will deliver by planned c-section in Feb. I'm hoping the lack of March sticky on the board means it will be slow for babies at that time so less busy in the hospital. Not very likely!
