I was diagnosed with PCOS last October and after TTC for over a year I'm pregnant! Just got a call from my OB gyn that my HCG blood test was positive. I am excited but also really terrified because I know that it's still really early and women that have PCOS have a higher chance of miscarriage. I am taking the HCG test again on Sunday morning to make sure the number has doubled. Please pray for me!!!!! =)

Hi Dubaicat, I had my 6 weeks scan and everything went well. Saw the yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat. I will be going back soon for my 8 weeks scan and to make sure everything is still fine. That's brilliant! Sorry for the late reply, for some reason EW has seen fit to kick me out twice in the past two weeks so I've been unable to post. Make sure you get enough rest and all the best for your next appointment :D. It's okay! Thank you so much for all your kind messages. I'm feeling more positive now and getting LOTS of rest. Feels like months have gone by until the next scan. :)

Hi Dubaicat, I had my 6 weeks scan and everything went well. Saw the yolk sac, fetal pole and heartbeat. I will be going back soon for my 8 weeks scan and to make sure everything is still fine. congrts sal123...i am also in the same boat...although i am nearing completion of my first trimester! whole time so scared and anxious for next appointment :) these 3 months are passing very very slowly! still 1 week left for me. are you taking any meds? i am on progestrone gel and glucophage. i had my scan at 6 weeks, 8 weeks, next scheduled for 13 week. i am worried about the no of ultrasound in just first trimester but atleast they soothe me...seeing baby growing fine on screen :) all the best to you...keep fingers crossed. Hi manubhadauria: Congratulations, you must be really excited that you're almost through with your 1st trimester! I have my 8 week scan this thursday and yes time is going by sooo slow! I don't know how I will make it through the next month. I was only taking metformin 2200mg/day before I got pregnant and now my doctor has lowered my dosage to 1500mg/day. She says she will probably take me off metformin after my first trimester. Is this the case for you also? Wish you all the best and hope you're feeling much better 2nd trimester. :)

I am still SO nervous and hope everything goes well. =/ Soph- I hope you get a BFP soon! Just be patient and next thing u know you'll be preggers. :) Great news! Hope all is well with your scan. I well remember the almost constant panic of the first trimester and it must be even worse for you with PCOS.
